The world of Laifel

OOC: I explained this earlier to DeathKing. Molding Wind means you are molding the energy in the air that causes wind. While molding Air means you, well just mold the air around you. by molding wind, you can easily do things like make powerful tornadoes, fly, or create focused walls of wind. You can do the same thing when you mold air, but in order to do that, it requires you to spend extra energy to create wind.

some things that are unique with air is that you can create a 'bubble' without air in it, which is essentially a vacuum. Similarly, you can mold a bubble of air underwater or in other places that you can not breath.

both powers a very similar, but they each have their own unique properties. They are both very powerful too.

 

Azazel knew he the source of the energy wave was in Baflee, but he didn't where in Baflee. We'll have to scour the whole land...

"You can join us if you like," Lanan said.
Ruby snapped out of her personal trance, "Is that wise, Master Luna?"
Lanan nodded. "Yeah, it won't hurt anyone. We can try that other thing later," he said, refering to unhypnotizing Ruby. "So what do you say, Gemini?"

OOC: I see, I never even thought of making Lanan fly...

 

"Sir, Baflee is huge, we will need to split up if we are to find the source" she yelled at him.

Ekaf finally catched up to Lanan. "Lanan, come with me and the girl from the Tavern my yet live." Ekaf said, she knew the girl was dead, but he didn't.

 

"Yes, we may need to," Azazel told her, "We'll split up when we get there."

Lanan growled and stepped in front of Gemini. "What do you want!?" He growled.
Ruby hissed and started ran towards Ekaf, ready to transform, before Lanan stopped her.
"Ruby, no!" Lanan wiggled his nose in the air, molding wind to carry scents from his surroundings to himself. "I don't smell your master. Now tell me, what do you want?"
Ruby looked at Lanan and put her eyes back on Ekaf. She had her fangs bared and claws transformed, just in case. "Ansswer him," she commanded Ekaf, her lisp returning due to her tongue splitting.

 

"Head to Tyaom, and the one called Ash, my live, if you do not, my master will cut her into little pieces and will force you to watch" she said as she ran off towards Tyaom.

""Its done Azazel, the message has been sent to Lanan to head to Tyaom" she said towards him.

 

"I'm not going!" Lanan yelled behind Ekaf.
"You're condemning her to die?" RUby said, shocked at Lanan.
Lanan looked at Gemini and hoped she didn't think he was heartless or anything. "No," he said to Ruby, "We have no proof she's alive. This could be a trap...I'm sure of it. And even so, Ash was just an innkeeper, not a friend." Lanan felt bad for saying it but it was true, "I doubt she's alive, but I'm not falling into a trap and I already have my own mission at hand."



"Alright, Ras'tepa should take care of him then." Azazel said as he nodded. If he could find a way, he would kill that Wolf and the Summon. Even if she joined his side

 

Ekaf heard Lanan and went back. "How about this half breed scum, come to Tyaom or all the people of Melkine will die painfully, and my master will kill your newest compainion first, slowly and painfully, so you can hear her screams of pain, the only way to avoid this is to join the king of Ilianam" she said with ease.

 

Eleanor cringed. "Alright," she sighed. "They're going to be looking everywhere for us if the gate's are closing... where can we possibly find that could be safe?"

 

Gemini cringed at the newcomer's words. Her ears were back as far as they would go and her eyes kept flashing between Rudy and Lanan attempting to understand the situation from their expressions. She couldn't tell if they would refuse to leave again.

 

OOC : Whoops, my bad. Gotta pay more attention to differentiate "hum" and "sing".

BIC :

Getting punched in the stomach is already painful. But, when a monster with such strength does it, especially after being hurt already, it hurt even worse. The burning sensation came again.

Cursing his mistake, he at least heard the general's words. The demon was wide open. Time to act.

First, however, the shock of the impact was very fierce... Trenyan felt his stomach acting up... and, seeing an opportunity, he did no effort to stop the incoming reaction off his body. While he attempted to loosen the grip on his throat, with his left hand, he pushed forwards, and spat vomit all over the monster's face.
He then Molded his ice all over the demon's face, not only blocking the vomit there, but also covering the nose and the eyes. The demon was blinded, and the humming stopped.

Fearing that the demon would strangle him too quickly, he activated his main plan. He let go of the monster's hand, and quickly took one of his poison spheres.
Under his waist, where the demon couldn't see, he held the sphere over his sword, and shattered it with his hand. The poisonous liquid soaked over his Wing Sword, and then he Molded a little bit of ice, to solidify the poison on his weapon.

He had poison on his skin, but it was harmless unless it entered the body.

While he was feeling like he absolutely needed to breathe, he put his sword next to the monster's neck, close to the head... and pulled as hard as he could. The wound would've killed a human being, but it wasn't even terribly deep on this monster.

But as the frozen poison started thawing in the demon's body, Trenyan hoped that his enemy's metabolism was similar to those of humans...

 

Tristan grabbed hold of Eleanor's arm and made a quick dash into a nearby narrow alleyway. It was a dead end, but the opening was hard to notice and the lack of light made it the perfect place to hide for the night. Tristan placed his right hand on his wound and leaned against the far wall. He felt a little faint. His breaths were deep and heavy.
"I don't know." He said, slumping to the ground. "I just.... need a rest from... all this running. Perhaps..... Nas can.... do something..... about..... this....."

OOC: This Demon's anatomy is slightly different, so the poison will have a different effect on him. oh, he doesn't have eyes.

Nevirz attempted to rip the ice off with his free hand, but he was only able to remove the ice on his mouth because of a sudden sluggish feeling that came over him. What's more, his throat felt like it was swelling on the inside. the grip on his left hand loosened, allowing the crossbreed to fall to the ground.
"What did you do to me." Was what Nevirz wanted to say, but all that came out was a wheeze.

Kellington felt the wave of fear vanish. He wasn't sure what happened to the creature, but he knew an opportunity if he ever saw one. Now was the time to act, because from the looks of it, the ice on the creature's face would thaw in no time. "Now's our chance." said Kellington. "Freeze the blood in his right ankle!"

 

OOC : I don't have much skill when it comes to remembering Nevirz face, do I?

BIC :

"Eve, I'm not too confident about this inn. I suggest that one of us always stays awake, just in case. Flame Burst can do that job, too.
I can take the first shift, if you want."

"Air!" thought Trenyan.
He was breathing heavily, hoping to get as much oxygen as possible, in case the demon attacked.
But it didn't. Was the poison working? Was the monster's brain overreacting?

The Crossbreed's thoughts were interrupted by the general's words, however. That human seemed to know what he was talking about, so Trenyan trusted him.

He concentrated to Mold, but he failed. He took a deep breath, and focused.

"This is it!", he yelled, as the air's humidity concentrated on the monster's ankle. The freezing was mostly in the inside of the body, and the monster's entire leg took a white tint.

Trenyan then proceeded to take the stone fragments out of his eyes, that came form the shattered statue.

 

"Let her go, you-" Kael stopped himself from saying anything too obseen in front of the girl. His grip tightened on his sword. What do I do? If I try to change, he's sure to kill the girl.

 

The King of Ilianam? Is he a Demon, too? Lanan thought as he tried to figure out what to do. "No," he said with a smile, "You can kill this girl, you can kill all of Melkine, but I won't join you. Remember, if you kill them, you'll lose any chance of me coming with you." Lanan shot a look at Gemini behind him and whispered, "get ready to run." Lookng back at Ekaf, he yelled to Ruby, "Take her out!"
Ruby transformed to her true form. Her legs erupted into a giant snake's tail, and she lunged at Ekaf, surrounding her with her tail. "If you want to live, fake, I sssuggesst you leave." Ruby bared her claws to show Ekaf she was serious.

"Let's go!" Lanan yelled to Gemini. He got on all fours and ran towards the woods.

 

OOC: Do you mean Orin Woods? I'm trying to figure out if you guys are near Sammy.

 

Gemini faltered for a second before turning on her heel and running after him into the woods. She soon got into her stride and was leaping to speed her steps up. Hells, what's going on?

 

OOC: Yeah, Garxena, we jsut left Edelsteen so Orin Woods it is.
BIC:

Lanan turned his head and was pleased to see Gemini was keeping up. "I'll explain everything, but first, we need to get safe." Lanan hoped Ruby could handle herself, he knew Ekaf was alone. A fake summon couldn't beat a real Summon, could it?

 

OOC: Oh, okay. Then you're not near Sammy.

 

"Where is safe?" Gemini asked as she leapt from spot to spot. "Is she going to be alright?" she looked back over her shoulder.

 

"A little deeper into the woods," Lanan replied, "and don't worry about Ruby, it'll take a lot to take her out." I hope
