"We're far enough," Lanan said as he stopped running and leaned against his trees. "I don't want to get to far from Ruby." He looked at Gemini, How the hell do I explain this?

 

"There's nothing I can do." said Kellington. "I'm not a skilled mage." Thinking quickly, he then said. "freeze his blood in the other parts of his body. That way he won't be able to get away."

OOC: that's the best I could come up with.

 

He is so carrying. “Goodnight Kurt†Eve said with a smile as he crawled into the bed.
Eve then laid his head against the pillow, and then drifted to sleep.

 

OOC : Fine, I'll do it myself then :D

Three random questions first, though :
1. What are the consequences for overusing Molding? I read the consequences of the human powers, but didn't see the Molding ones.
2. Is it possible to heal using magic? Like Cure from KH?
3. Is there any way of restoring Molding powers, like I dunno, an Ether?

BIC :


"Good night, Eve."

Kurt stood up, got a hold of his scythe, and started walking around the room, slowly. He had taken off his shoes, as to make no noise. While Eve and Flame Burst were asleep, he could think of a plan of action.

He had everything planned already, but that was assuming Sameire was still in the castle. Now he had to plan again. He was in deep thought.

"I'm intrigued by this Cylian. He's far too friendly. If I would want to kill him, I could do so! Of course I don't want that, but he's careless... hope he fights well though, because we'll have to fight.
It would be amazing that he be the only one capable of guessing Sameire's location, wouldn't it? I'm sure we'll have to fight soon after finding her."

"Hm. So be it."

Pushing aside a feeling of despair, born of being forced to Mold so much, Trenyan focused one more time. His brain worked fast, trying to encourage himself.
He started growling from the effort.

No clear thought passed through his mind ; only the image of the demon, who was falling close to the fissure. Trenyan concentrated on the inside of the monster's body, something he hasn't done often...

The general's tip payed off in the end, and with a large shouting noise, he Molded ice all over the demon's arms, and his remaining leg. The body parts once more took a white color, and the monsters couldn't do anything to prevent his fall on the stone floor.

Trenyan let himself fall to his knees, closed his eyes, grinning from the pain. A powerful but temporary pain raged through his head.

"Don't waste your time looking!" he shouted, hoping that some guards were still there.
"Surround that thing!"

 

OOC: For a charecter who is thinking alot, you would think he would be able to figure out why Eve is so friendly. lol

 

OOC: well, you exhaust your strength, so you need rest. So that would mean that over exerting yourself could have harmful effects to the body and can even kill.

BIC: "Allow me." Said Kellington as he walked to the fissure. Once there, he summoned some more blue flames and threw it at one of the creature's frozen appendages. As it make contact, there was a loud crack. Kellington did the same thing, two more times, in order to take care of its other appendages.
"There," he said while falling to his knees from exhaustion, "he won't be getting up anytime soon. Good work."

Nevirz lay on the ground helplessly. The poison was beginning to wear off. Nevirz grit his teeth. Damn mortals. Damn them all.

 

OOC : Nah, Kurt is too serious to think of that. He will first think of Eve being a spy, Eve being careless, Eve being strange, and then himself being careless, before thinking of the real reason.
Kurt, you dumbass. :D

BIC :

Trenyan felt quite some admiration for the general, and for the plan he had come up with.

"Your power is great. I admire you talent." he said.

The fight seemed over, but Trenyan was smarter than letting the demon unguarded. He got up, his mind exhausted and his body feeling the consequences. He was forced to walk in irregular steps.

He approached the demon, sword in hand. He addressed the downed monster.

"Did your mind suffer enough yet? Do you like that feeling? That's your body fighting itself. Your strength against yourself.

Now, stay calm, because the nice general has some questions to ask you, and so do I. If you try to do something, ANYTHING, you'll get more of this poison in your body. Much, much more."

Then, turning towards his ally :
"If I were you, I'd order some soldiers to come help us. We should also move him away from the fissure, and away from any possible escape route."

 

Nevirz was able to talk again. The poison's effect had gone away. "Feel smug while you can, you piece of half bred filth. Once my brethren get here, you'll be begging them for mercy. This world will perish, and you with it."

"SILENCE!" Yelled Kellington. He had to force himself to do so because of the fear the struck his heart when the beast talked. Kellington unsheathed his sword and walked up towards the creature's head. "First Question. What are you?"

"First answer. You'll find out soon enough." Nevirz said in a mocking voice.

"THAT DOESN'T ANSWER MY QUESTION!" Yelled Kellington as he zapped the beast's teeth with lightening.

Nevirz cried out in pain, but then began to laugh as the pain subsided. "You're not going to get any answers from me Kellington. All you need to know is that my job here is done." Nevirz began laughing again.

"What job?" asked Kellington. The beast didn't answer. "WHAT JOB?!" Yelled the general while zapping the beast yet again.

Nevirz cried out in pain. But only started laughing again. "You're all going to suffer. You're all going to die!" Nevirz blurted out between fits of laughter.

"Fine." Kellington said in a stern voice. "I see how it is."
Kellington thrust his blade into the creature's open mouth and up into his brain. The beast stopped laughing. Kellington smiled. "It seems you're not as tough on the inside as you are on the out." He said as he removed his sword. The beast lay on the floor lifelessly. Nevirz was dead.

 

"Way to go.", said Trenyan sarcastically.
"Which part from "the nice general has some questions to ask you, and so do I", didn't you understand? Not that it matters. That beast didn't seem too keen on talking.

So what was that thing? And..."
Trenyan thought of something.

"And where is your real king?"

BIC :

Kurt had been trying to get a plan. But the circumstances were too random. He couldn't know when or where he'll meet Sameire, if she'll be alone or with some helpers, or perhaps chased by guards...
He still did his best to have a strategy in every case.

Two hours had definitely passed.
He prodded Eve.
"Wake up. It's your turn to guard."

His thoughts were elsewhere.
"Knowing myself, I won't sleep much, will I? Not when someone I barely know is guarding. I trust Eve a lot for someone I met today... but I don't think I can sleep easily."

 

Eve woke up luckily after Kurt was talking to himself.
"It’s my turn to guard right?" Eve said.
I never woke up to such a beautiful sight in my life; although he does look awfully tired.
Eve sprang out of the bed.
"Here you go Kurt" Eve said trying to maintain a smile.
I wish I could get some more sleep, but I can't carry Kurt around all day.

 

"I think our king is dead." said Kellington. "he had been acting strange for a while now. It first started when my Queen died mysteriously. After that, people would find him wandering the halls at the dead of night. Then there was the plan of action that he took for this war. I think this thing has been masquerading as our king. As for what it is..... well, one thing pops into mind, but that thought troubles me."

 

Kurt jumped on his bed. He hoped to get enough sleep. If all went well, they could find Sameire the following day. But what then? He still made some plans, as he fell asleep.

"So Baflee was in trouble for a while. And what exactly do you think this thing is? A copycat of some sorts? A supreme, powerful being that wanted to seize Baflee's power?"

Trenyan saw the night sky, black with smoke, and many of Cheslidair's buildings burning.

"The battle! Do you know how the war is going?!"


OOC : Done for the night.

 

Kellington slumped against the nearby wall. "I can only hope that it's going well. I don't have anymore strength to fight." Kellington stared at the creature for a second. "He mentioned something about having brethren." Kellington shook at such a thought. "Tell me, do you believe in demons?"

 

Eleanor sighed, catching her breath. "If she's as weak as us from whatever affected her, we may not have a choice." She bit her lower lip, thinking hard as she sat wearily next to Tristan. "We can moe quietly around here at night, you know," she started, off the top of her head. "Just wait a few hours and try to find a healer; someone like that may not recognize you and could help us... maybe... I don't know..."

 

Gemini stopped running when he did. She breathed heavily through her nose and sat down against a near by tree. "Thanks for not leaving me to be killed." she said smiling honestly when she had her breath back. "Would you really let all those people die she was talking about?" she asked, more soberly.

 

Lanan thought carefully before answering her question. "Honestly? I don't know. Those people mean nothing to me." He raised his head up and stared at the sky, "I don't consider myself a good person," and then he looked back at Gemini, "But I'm not a force of evil, either. If they really want me to join, they wouldn't kill all those people because then I definitely wouldn't join them."

 

Gemini considered his answer for a few moments. "It is good that you know that about yourself." she finally replied, looking at him uncomfortably. "So what is going on?"

 

"Uhh," Lanan froze, trying to think of a way to explain it. Even he wasn't sure what was going on. How would she feel knowing that the legendary war actually happened? That the Demons are back? "I'm not really sure. Some powerful people attacked me in the last few days. Ekaf was one of them. And now they want me to join them for some reason..." He decided to leave the part about Demons out.

 

"By the gods..." Gemini seemed amazed. "Can you keep running like this? I mean won't they catch you eventually?" Amazing. In one day I find a run away princess and this man. Why didn't father tell me how complicated the world is?

 

Lanan smiled at her question, "They can't catch me. Even if they manage to, they can't beat me." Even though he barely survived the last battle. "Besides, I don't want to get involved, I'm looking for someone I can pass this information to and forget about this business."
