Gemini looked up at him. "Not that I can think of. I'm not very interesting." she laughed. "you already know I'm a curious cat, what else do you need to know?"

 

Lanan couldn't really think of anything, so he laid on his back, making sure not to roll off the branch. "I don't know," he shrugged, "Just talking to pass the time."

 

"what about you then? Anything I should know before I start traveling with you and Ruby?" Gemini asked, forgetting that she had been attempting not to pry anymore. She flexed her claws as she spoke and pulled one hand across the tree bark to sharpen her claws.

 

"Uh," How about Ruby's a monster that would probably try to kill you? "Nothing really," Lanan finally said. "Just know that I prefer the wilderness to a town. I hunt for food, I don't buy it. I sleep under trees, not sheets. I usually don't have a lot of money on me so if you're the pampered type, this'll be a little tough on you."

 

Gemini gave him an incredulous look. "today's the first day i've ever been in a real town. I'll be fine." she exaimed her claws and sharpened the other hand's. "that's good to know, though. I"m actually glad you both travel that way." she added.

 

"So you're a wild girl, huh?" Lanan asked. That's good. Growing up in the wild means she will be able to defend herself...or at least be smart enough to run when the case calls for it.

Ras'tepa was in the garden, laying on his back. The soldier told him that all groups were sent out and posters of the Alzeire siblings are being posted all over Ilianam. So now we wait...

 

"If growing up in a Cat Clan is wild, then yes." Gemini answered. "I assume the same sort of thing went for your childhood?" she asked.

 

Lanan sighed. He wasn't expecting his childhood to be brought up. "My mom was a Wolf. I stayed with her until she died of old age, but as a Cylian, I was still pretty young. So I then stayed in a Cylian Village most of my life with my father until he...passed away." Lanan didn't tell her how he died. She didn't need to know. "I've been out on my own since. But my Wolf side is more dominant than my Cylian so I guess I am wild." He smiled.

 

Tristan awoke in a cold sweat. He felt feverish and extremely dizzy. He tried to stand, but he was unable to manage it. It felt as though he hadn't used his muscles in weeks.
"Eleanor?" He said in a weak voice. "Eleanor?" He cried out again. There wasn't any answer. Tristan looked around the alley. She was no where to be found. Where did she go? Tristan wondered.

"Hoist the sail!" Ordered Hester.

 

OOC : ZC, that's not a portal. That's Sameire, who Shaped a dome to sleep in. It was disappearing when we arrived.

BIC :

"A portal? I'm not sure... it's fading away.
But who knows, you might be right. Let's be careful."

Kurt approached the strange phenomenon. By the time he reached it, the dome had been gone. And there was a woman.

"Flame Burst done terrific job" thought Kurt."

"Hello. Need some help?"
said Kurt casually, walking up to whom he was sure was Princess Sameire.

 

OOC: *Feels dumb, again*
*Sigh* why is it I never understand what is going on?
"Anybody home?" Eve asked the wierd object.

 

Sameire turned, assuming she was being addressed. The two she saw before her, seemed like innocent travelers, but then again.... "No, thank you. I'm doing just fine." She used her 'polite princess' voice. She still had no idea if she was being followed or who she could trust. If asked her name, she'd use her alias that she gave Gemini.

Aidou remained in the cabin with Aduial. As long as she slept, he would stay with her. It didn't hurt that the sun was blocked below deck either. He didn't particularly enjoy being unable to see.

 

OOC: What do yah know a talking bubble!
BIC: Eve stayed silent; he was never good with starting a heart to heart talk. He could never figure out why, maybe it was just in his nature to fight. After all he did grow up in a forest, not a palace.

 

OOC : Talking bubble, lol! But I think the bubble's gone by now. Damn, I'll never see Sameire the same way again.

BIC :

Hoping to hide the large scythe he carried on his back, Kurt addressed the woman :

"Are you sure? You look like you've been through hell. Who are you?"

 

"Catherine," Sameire kept a straight face. The name had been her mother's. "And, yes, I'm quiet sure." She'd not payed it much attention before, but now that it had moved, Sameire didn't like the looks of that scythe. She was sure that her tunic was dirtied and her eyes bloodshot - not the best impression. As much as she wanted help, and didn't want to be alone, she couldn't risk joining a company and not knowing if it was 'her father's' doing.

 

OOC:You mean like princess Zelda!!! LOL
BIC: I don't think she is going to tell us who she is. She looks like one of those independent princess types.

Finally opened his mouth
"So you don't want our help? Well then maybe you can help us." Eve said.

 

Kurt decided to drop the bomb. The woman wasn't going to admit who she was.

"I just hope that we're not wrong as to her identity, after all that trouble."

Then, he talked as soon as Eve finished.

"You could help us... the recent events made you quite the important person. But you already know that. We know who you are, Princess Sameire, but we mean no harm."

Kurt hoped that she wouldn't run. Was he too aggressive?

 

Eleanor ran the same thoughts to herself in her head as she moved through the sidestreets of the city, starting to get desperate. I just need some help, she continued in her mind. Tristan needs help; how is he supposed to help these people, this country, if his little wound gets infected into something life-threatening? And it'd be all my fault... some body guard I'd be!

"Looking for something, child?"

Eleanor turned and jumped at the question, pulling both her daggers from their sheaths. "Who's there?" she said, peering into the nearest shadow.

The female voice cracked into a laugh. "Just an old woman," it replied.

Eleanor relaxed slightly when the woman stepped out into the pale moonlight of the street. She was dressed in rags and her long grey hair was piled in a loose bun at the back of her head.

"From what I understand you carry a burden of fate, little one," the woman whispered, almost to herself. Her eyes bore into Eleanor's as she stepped forward. "You and your companion... your auras are covered in the fingerprints of destiny, coated in the touch of fate itself. And you need... help."

"I never said that," Eleanor began shakily, a little put off by the woman's words.

"A paste, some potions, wrappings, bread, and water, my dear?" the old woman cackled happily, smiling with a few remaining teeth at the shock on Eleanor's face. "If you wish to help the man you care about so much, come this way. Maybe something extra could come along... if fate allows, of course."

Eleanor frowned as the old woman turned and stepped into the nearest house, as rundown and ugly as the rest around it. She doesn't even seem to care if I followed, she thought, putting her blades away. As if I can trust a crazy lady like that...

"What's your other option, dearie?" the woman's voice echoed happily as she held open the door for Eleanor.

Eleanor found herself smirking as she decided to follow.

 

"Master Tristan doesn't look so good." Nas thought aloud. Tristan had summoned Nas some time ago, but she was beginning to think it was unintentional because he had been non-responsive to her since then. Nas wanted to get some help, but she couldn't afford to leave her master's side with him looking like that. He was shivering, sweating, and mumbling to himself.
"Let me help you, Master, I want to help you!" Nas pleaded to Tristan. "Just answer me! Don't ignore me. Tristan? Tristan!" Tristan continued to mumble to himself.
What do I do? What can I do? Nas thought worriedly. She stared at Tristan for a few more seconds. All I can do is comfort him.
Nas turned into her ferret form and climbed up onto Tristan's shoulder. She licked Tristan's cheek and snuggled up against him. All she could do was comfort him.

 

I don't know if she is going to go for this, then again what do I know?
I thought that ball was a portal. Maybe Kurt should drop his scythe.
Aren't we supposed to bow or somthing when asking a princess a question?
