The world of Laifel

Gemini started walking around seemingly aimlessly, although she kept near the other two. After a few moments she crouched down and leapt upwards to a high branch of a near by tree. She stretched out and closed her eyes to at least rest if not sleep.

 

It was easy pickings for Karchit and his men. They were able to take out nearly half the guild members before anyone even realized what was going on. even then, the guild members seemed a little unorganized. This was too easy.

 

Eleanor jumped when she saw Tristan open his eyes. She wanted to throw her arms around his neck and hug him in relief, but thought better of it, not wanting to anger Nas.

"How are you feeling?" she asked, finishing the binding around his torso and looking to her own ankle. "Nas and I have been worried about you!"

 

Tristan glanced over at Eleanor. He felt like crap but he wasn't about to admit it. "So, you're back." he said with a smile. "Did anything eventful happen while I was asleep?"

Nas took a deep breath. "Master Tristan.... I'm sorry."

Tristan was surprised to hear Nas' voice. He didn't recall summoning her. He glanced over at Nas. "You're sorry? Wha-" Tristan's eyes widened at the sight of Nas' nude body and he quickly looked away. "Um... Eleanor, you wouldn't happen to know what became of Nas' clothes would you?"

 

Ooc: hey hey people!!! It has been a long time since I was able to post on here...mainly because of the whole, no functioning desktop computer, problem but I decidedthat I will post something no matter how long it takes....soooo, since I am an idiot and should have at least been following the story and everyting but I didn't because I kept forgetting....so could I get a re-cap of the almost 2000 reply role play.....it would be much appreciated and in return I will make a monster reply for my characters to try catching up....:)

 

Well, Let me try my hand at a recap. You'll probably want to hear other recaps lol

Tristan and Eleanor escaped some soldiers that found them, but Tristan collapsed from exhaustion (or something). Nas guarded him while Eleanor left to go find something to heal him. She succeeded getting medicine from a creepy old lady who predicted some destiny stuff. Meanwhile, Haff (Legion's character) tried to rob Tristan and Nas defended her master, but Haff succeeded in robbing a crystal from him. Eleanor arrived and started healing Tristan who had woke up after having a strange "dream" where a voice told him it's not his time, yet. Nas started freaking out because the "item of great importance" that Tristan held was gone. (Haff stole it.) They're currently in Nentrion...and Nas is naked.

Karchit the Lizard (Pezz's cahracter) and his men are attacking Zuiden's (my character) camp and killing his men to signify their new alliance.

Zack (Pezz's Angel), Sebastion (DeathKing's Angel), and Kael (AxEL0220's Angel) are finishing off the Leechers taht attacked Cheslidair. Unless I missed a post where they finished.

General Kellington (Pezz) and Trenyan (Starseeker) killed the Demon, Nevirz, who was masquarading as the King of Baflee after a tough fight, unfortunately Nevirz destroyed one of the 6 (now 4) crystals that sealed the Demons. After some introductions between the two, they wander into a secret room and find Biffem's corpse, the King's assistant, that Nevirz killed.

Lanan (me) and Ruby (my Summon) meet a Fairrel Crossbreed named Gemini (Princess_of_Hearts) outside of Edelsteen and are attacked by Ekaf (Riku1186), who is Alira's (riku1186's Demon) FAKE Summon. SHe delivers a threatening message to Lanan, to join them or they will kill all of Melkine. Lanan refuses because he says if they do, then he'll NEVER join them. Lanan and Gemini talk while Ruby fights Ekaf. Ruby is stabbed, Ekaf escapes, Ruby heals herself with her own venom by turning her wound into stone and goes into Lanan's ruby necklace (her summoning jewel). Lanan and Gemini race to Nentrion and have some fun. Lanan wins, but the gates are closed so they decide to wait until the gates open in the morning, alongside Ruby who is in her human form. They're outside of Nentrion.

I can't remember what Lynthorne (Starseeker) is doing. I think he's in Baflee around Quel finishing off some Lizards with townspeople. Can someone confirm that?

Kurt (Starseeker) and Eve (JediNinja) found Princess Sameire (Garxy) outside of Edelsteen(?) after realizing how bad the country is suffering under the rule of a corrupt King. Sameire agrees to travel with them to find her brother (Tristan) as long as they don't travel at night.

Jacob (DeathKing) and Maximillian(Death King) are in the desert Oasis fighing monsters. John (DeathKing) is around Zuiden's camp, looking for Zuiden.

Zuiden (me) and Whisk (me) are watching Karchit kill their men.

Alira (Riku1186) and Azazel (me) are about to cross Lake Riverae on their way to Baflee.

Ras'tepa (me) is in the King's room hating on the fact that he doesn't know anything. Bryne (me, the real King) is in his head waiting for something to happen.

Now someone may want to confirm all of that and Garxena better post her own special recap :D

 

Ooc: ^o.O....wow, that- that is quite the recap...thanks Lil...:D I think that is the last time that I will miss so much of the story....well it's a good thing that my characters are heading to nentrion except Sonia, who is already in nentrion....wow...there are 3 other angels? Sweet...now Charles isn't alone....

 

Zack quickened his pace, the smell of the Demon was getting closer. He was in for a surprise when he turned the corner. The demon was dead. But who killed it? Surely not humans. But the thing was that the hall smelled of human blood even though there was no body.
Zack glanced over at some nearby guards who where discussing what they should do with the body. "Excuse me, but can you tell me What happened here?"

The guards looked up. They were surprised to see a child walking the halls. "This isn't a place for a little kid to go wondering around in." Said one of them.

Zack ignored the remark. "I asked you people a question. What happened? Who killed this creature?"

"They look like pieces of crystal." Said Danil Kellington. "How strange."

 

Lanan watched Gemini jump to the tree branch. She really likes trees... he thought before remembering most Cats lived in trees. He crossed his arms and his legs and leaned his head against the gate. A few seconds later, he groaned, stretched his hands out, and laid on his side with his eyes closed. Less than a minute after that, he groaned again and stretched his legs in his air before rolling back into a sitting position. I'm not tired enough to sleep...he thought to himself, crossing his arms again. Looking to see if Ruby was sleeping, he noticed she was still in that same spot, staring at the town. "Are you alright?" he asked with an arched eyebrow.
Ruby's eyes narrowed and she answered without looking at Lanan, "I sense...something. Or someone..."
Lanan tensed up, "Another...Demon?"
Ruby took a deep breath and closed her eyes, shaking her as she talked, "No, but someone powerful."

Zuiden and Whisk barely made it out of the camp when the attack started. He could hear the Lizards attacking brutally and without any inhibitions. Zuiden couldn't help but feel a little sad about killing his men. He now had no one to do his dirty work. He could lead a fraction of the Lizards army, but the Lizards weren't as smart as his men. "Oh well, you do with what you can," he mumbled as he watched the battle unfold.
Whisk was crouching when he noticed someone running towards them. Not even glancing at his staff, he raised an eyebrow wondering who it could be.
"Captain!" A man yelled as he rushed towards Zuiden. "What's going on? We're under attack! Help us!"
Zuiden recognized him as one of the more skilled mages and replied in a loud voice, not bothering to show any fake emotion, "It's too late! We have to get out of here! Let's go, you first! I'll go and save who I can!"
The mage stopped in his tracks, "B-But," before he finished, a blunt object hit him across the face, knocking him out.
Whisk stood over the man, holding his staff, "That was kind of cruel, you know?" he asked Zuiden, smiling at the man's unconscoius body.
Zuiden gave a small laugh. "I was trying to distract him while I killed him," he said grabbing his weapon, "but you beat me to it!"
Whisk answered with his trademark smile, showing his fangs out of the corner of his mouth and then cocked his head towards the camp, "It's almost over. Should we help the Lizards?"
"No," Zuiden answered as he walked towards Whisk. Grabbing the sickle edge of his weapon, he effortlessly stabbed the mage, barely looking at him and continued talking, "Let the Lizards dirty their hands for our means." Staring at the one-sided battle in front of them, he proceeded to tell Whisk his plan, their conversation drowned out by the screams of men.

 

"I'm guessing she automatically turns to her human form clothingless," Eleanor explained, quickly putting medicine and wrapping on her ankle. "You might have to ask her to make more or I can carry a dress of hers in this pack in case she needs it."

 

john walked up to the man, and asked him."Zuiden."
"I'm not Zuiden, he's over there, pointing to Zuiden killing the mage"Oh"
"Yeah, you might want to get out of here" as he started running towards, launching airt at him.

 

Whisk's fur tingled and he spun around, tripping Zuiden with his staff.
Zuiden was in the middle of a sentence when he hit the ground, a blast of air soaring over him. "What the?" He rolled over and grabbed the handle of his sickle in his right hand, supporting himself with his left. "Whisk?"
Whisk was holding his staff in left hand, his back stooped, while baring his fangs and growling at the man approaching them, something most people never seen him do. "Jacob's brother," he answered simply.
Zuiden stood up, surprised at Whisk's behavior. Not bothering to pick up the chain of his kusarigama, he held the sickle tight. Looking at John, he smiled, "John, wasn't it? Long time no see!"

 

Gemini listened while she let herself relax. Half of her mind was on the conversation below her and the other half was going through her day. She sighed softly, trying to get a grasp on it all. I wonder how Catherine... no she said it was Sameirl... i wonder how she's doing. When it gets light, maybe I can ask Lanan and Ruby about him... she thought as she dozed off.

 

Nas stared down at herself curiously. "Oh, I completely forgot about them. I think I left my clothes inside the gem... Would Master Tristan like me to go and get them?"

"Yes, yes! Please do. We can't have you going around like that. What if somebody saw you?"

"Well actually, someone did s-"

Tristan wanted to smack himself on the forehead. "Nas just get them, please."

Nas disappeared into the gem.

Tristan chuckled to himself. "I'm beginning to think that I'll never get use to that girl." Tristan said to Eleanor. "So is that where you went? To get first aid supplies? You had me worried when I woke up and found no one around. I was afraid that something might happen to me and I wouldn't be able to do anything about it."

The guards were taken aback by the kid's rudeness. "Look kid, I don't know who you think you are but-"

Zack began to shine brightly as he released a feeling of tranquility in the hall. "Please, sir. It's urgent."

Karchit was growing bored of this quickly. The men were complete overwhelmed and they were dropping like flies. "Tsk, Where the heck is that Zuiden?"

 

This worried Lanan. Someone powerful enough that Ruby's worried? He looked up at Gemini and saw her eyes were closed. After a few minutes of silence, he heard her breaths become deeper and steadier. She's asleep. He jumped up and looked at Ruby, "I'm going into town for awhile. I want you to stay here and watch Gemini."
Ruby's eyes widened at his request. "Master, what are you thinking? I just told yo-"
"I know," Lanan interrupted, "If you can sense them, they can sense you. I want to see if I can gather information. They won't notice me."
Ruby looked from Lanan to Gemini, "B-but Master Luna, why do I have to guard the girl?"
"It's an order, Rubira," Lanan said, emphasizing his low voice so as not to wake Gemini. "I'll be back shortly," he continued as he jumped and using Wind, landed on top of the gate. "If anything happens, you and Gemini get out of here." He jumped down and landed softly on the other side of the gate.
Ruby scowled as she walked towards the tree where Gemini slept. She positioned herself under the branch and cursed the girl.

 

Gemini didn't seem to notice the conversation under her as she shifted slightly in her sleep. One arm fell limply to her side and hung under her.

 

Ruby looked up. She had a small urge to grab Gemini's arm and rip it from the socket, but she decided Lanan wouldn't like that.

Lanan looked around before starting to walk. Most citizens were indoors, asleep probably, but that didn't mean the streets were empty. People were walking up and down the streets, some were sleeping there! This town is worse than the last one! He thought as he looked at the homeless. He stopped walking and concentrated. Disappointed he couldn't sense anything like Ruby, he turned and continued on his path.

 

Gemini suddenly opened her eyes, startled as her blance tilted. "Hm?" she looked down to see only Ruby. "Oh, hello." she greeted her, rubbing her eyes to get rid of the sleep. "Where did Lanan go?" she asked, jumping lightly down.

 

Ruby smirked, "I thought catnaps were a little longer." She couldn't help but feel bitter towards Gemini, even if Gemini hadn't done anything. "MASTER Luna was restless and went on ahead into town, he decided to let you sleep peacefully."

 

"That was nice of him." Gemini replied cheerfully ignoring Ruby's not so kind tone. "I'm sorry to slow you two down, although I really do think it's better for you not to jump that far for the moment." she added, looking at Ruby with obvious concern. She guessed she'd get some sort of snappish answer for that but wasn't too worried.
