MST in response to the initial activation of Heart of the Underdog to destroy it. I'll tell you what though, THAT is a good move... I never thought of using Reload after HotU, That'll be something to add to my old Exodia deck.

HOLD IT!!! FREEZE!!! HEART OF THE UNDERDOG CANNOT BE CHAINED TO WHILE IT'S RESOLVING!!! IT'S RULINGS ARE DIFFERENT THAN MIRAGE OF NIGHTMARE!!!

You CAN however chain MST to reload targeting Heart of The Underdog. Or you would have to chain it to when he first played it.

And you have to remember that not every kind of effect that activates starts a chain. To further explain: Heart of The Underdog's effect is Continuous so it doesn't start a chain. When Mirage of Nightmare's effect activates on the other hand it's treated as a Trigger Effect. Trigger Effects activate whenever a certain condition on the Field the nature of play or the progress of the turn is met. So for example, If you already have 4 cards in your hand Mirage of Nightmare's effect will not activate. But with Heart of The Underdog it's effect activates immediately with the Draw Phase and keeps going continuously as long as you keep drawing Normal Monsters. It's effect is Continuous. Continuous Effects CANNOT be chained to. But Trigger Effects can.
