The Evil Heroes can only be Special Summoned with Dark Fusion. So you can't get them back with Re-Fusion...=/ Strike 1.

 

Okay... I'll redo my move, and I'm really not trying to be argumentative here, but I have used that move in other duels. When/how did it change?

 

I don't know why other people let you get away with it.
It would've worked if the Evil Hero text was: "This card cannot be Fusion Summoned except by the effect of "Dark Fusion".", but other than that, not really.
It never changed, I guess Jaden was just the only one who pointed it out or noticed.
