Actually, You're wrong. Sacred Phoenix of Nepthys was not destroyed. You tributed it for the effect of Spiritual Fire Art - Kurenai. Tributing a monster is not the same as destroying it. So it stays dead and my backfield is safe.

Either way, you have to give your opponent the opportunity to chain instead of saying "immediately after it resolves".

But on the plus side I've now proven to all of you how naive and childish it is of you to think that I deserve to be champ.

 

It's kinda hard to simulate this. In a real-life game it all depends on how fast I would respond. But here, on a forum, making a move without giving someone the chance to do something about it (even though he has the means) doesn't really strike me as fair. Not saying you were trying to cheat of course, but it feels rather awkward to flip a card over without giving your opponent a chance to do something about it.

By the way, you're still among the best duelists active in this Arena as far as I'm concerned. Besides, this Duel isn't over yet. It can still go both ways. Best to draw conclusions until after the Duel is decided. I too can make a fatal mistake somewhere along the way, you know?

 

I am far too honest to cheat my good sir. ^_^ All I know is it's possible to chain to almost anything in response to almost anything, When a player draws cards that's one of the actions that can start a chain. Anyway, Somebody should try asking Purifying Flame. He would probably know. And I thank you for your kindness and your patience my good sir.:china:

 

Quick Plays and Non-Counter Traps have the same Spell Speed, so they can chain to each other, i searched for it in my last duel just in case.
Sure, that is unless Wikia is wrong, again.

You got 3 facedowns, you can do a lot with that.

Not like it will ever happen in this place, but you would let them do it?
And it's not very Jadenish of you to give up after losing, especially without actually losing and while having 3 facedown S/Ts and a facedown monster.
Which if i'm thinking things right, could save your ass.

Turn Priority actually doesn't matter here. The fact that Tornado is the same Spell Speed basically means that it can enter the chain. Meaning the Tornado can activate, Heavy Slump will fail to resolve, and everything else goes along.

...Unless I'm not seeing the actual problem here. If I'm way off, just ignore this.

I've only hard that about effects that target but this is probably correct.

The new people might. Some people tend to get the idea that somebody is not a good player just because they saw them get beaten soundly.

Yeah, but when Tornado and Gift Of Greed are in the same chain, then that entire chain would have to resolve first. Meaning Tornado would be used up BEFORE I draw, so I'd have less than 8 cards in total.
