since this happened in standby phase I can let him negate my mystical space typhoon but since its still my standby phase I can destroy his mirage still...
besides how does destroying your own mirage of nightmare on your own standby phase be any different? it says it happens during my standby phase so only if nothing happens in that time would he get his cards o.O

 

No, Curse of Royal is a Counter Trap. It's of higher activation speed. So you don't get to use another MST until the chain resolves. So Mirage of Nightmare does let him successfully draw 4 cards.

 

yeah but I am letting the chain resolve first before I use another mystical space typhoon... cant I destroy mirage after the chain resolves (and is still in standby phase)?

 

he still draws his four cards, so either you help him by getting rid of Mirage of Nightmare, or he gets rid of it
