I'd like to take a moment to apologize to everyone for not updating the banlist properly sooner. Please accept my apology. I want to keep the Arena fun and fair and balanced enough for everybody.

It's true in real life that when a Deck either is or becomes too powerful the power cards of that Deck get restricted.

your saying a card that doesnt activate unless a normal spell card actviates, has to pay 1000 LP, and needs to discard a card...needs to be banned?o.O

think about how often normal spells are used in this arena... then think about how useful Sillva's second effect is. yes, that's exactly what I'm saying.

unless, of course, we banned Sillva, but then you could do the same thing with broww to draw a pair of cards, in addition to discarding one, for a net +1, and negate, for 1000 LP.. that, and Sillva doesn't deserve banning.

sorry, but I couldn't let dark world get away with dropping three on a card destruction, and then gaining two cards, while activating other effects. I thought about limiting it to one, but decided that that would not be nice, and everyone who uses a pair with graceful would be sad.

 

You...dont realize how to deal with dark world even though you use it yourself...

 

of course I realize how to deal with them, but it only lasts for a single spiritualism. (if you're thinking of what I'm thinking of)

 

That is also my use for him. I only use him and rarely use Goldd or Silva, mostly for sacrificing though. If I wanted to I could use very powerful dark world deck(could have, maybe not after mass limiting), but they don't really fit my style of playing. Dragons will always be my favorite deck, but I've yet to get my Kaiba deck up to par with everyone else.

 

stop the special summon...stop the 2nd effect of silva...
prohibit the use of dark deal which can be used cuz dark deal cannot be chained to prohibition...
effect veiler can also helps in this since you can chain to sillva's special summoning making it unable to resolve its 2nd effect...
Sillva's 2nd effect cannot be used if the opponent has only 1 card in hand...
and Infernity...

 

basically, what you need for a deck is as many draw combos as possible, combined with good clearing cards, and a good finisher, that takes as few cards as possible, yours being nice, and a mere two cards required, but you need to work on more draw combos, and realizing the monster do very little.

prohibit dark deal, I chain dust tornado, stop special summons, I ignore it, and drop the appropriate monsters next turn to destroy whatever you have stopping special summons, effect veiler.. I don't think you can use it like that, but even if you can, you're still losing a card from your hand, so hand advantage is even, the card is negated, and I lose 1000 LP, and get to summon Silva, only one card in hand I use lightforce sword instead of dark deal. oh, and with Infernity.. Infernity is rather weak, and besides I drop Reign-Beax instead, and sweep their spell/trap zone with a monster effect, which is much harder to negate without divine wrath, then raigeki them.

 

Yeah I get it, its just not as enjoyable to me to win that way. I'm still one of those people that would rather summon a bunch of wicked monsters than do an increasing long, annoying, combo involving so many cards. Thats just me, thanks for the tips though.

 

yea. Summoning giant monsters, and having them battle is much more epic. maybe a no offensive spell + no trap duel? but then cards like snipe hunter would be all over the place, plus the monarchs..

Now I'll tune my level 1 Lantron to my level 1 Celfon that just used it's effect... Synchro summon... Formula Synchron!


This allows me to draw 2 cards!

Now... here comes celfon number three! Dial... on!

Now I tune my Level 1 Lantron to my last Level 1 Celfon, in order to synchro summon another Formula Synchron!

Seperating Formula Synchron back into Celfon and Lantron, both in attack mode!


Now I'll activate the effect of my new Celfon... Dial... On!

Now I'll use another De-Synchro!


De-Synchroing my other Formula Synchron back into Celfon and Lantron, again in attack mode!


Now let's use Celfon's effect again... Dial... on!

I'll activate the spell card Junk Box! Reviving my Morphtronic Scopen in attack mode!



Now, I tune my level 3 Scopen to my level 4 Radion! Docking strength with courage to protect world peace! Synchro Summon! Envoy of love and justice, Power Tool Dragon!



Life Stream is busy at the moment, but he'll do just fine! And this allows me another card!

I'll activate the effect of my Power Tool Dragon, allowing me to reveal 3 equip spells from my deck, and add 1 at random to my hand depending on your choice!


However, as they're all the same spell, I can just add one to my hand! *Shuffles* Which I will now equip to my Power Tool Dragon!


Now... Where was I? Oh, yeah... I tune my level 2 formula synchron to my level 5 T.G. Hyper Librarian and my level 5 Ally of Justice Catastor! Limit Over Accel Synchro!



I summon Shooting Quasar Dragon, in attack mode!


I now set 3 cards face-down.
