I think Dark World is a little better actually. It and Fables are pretty much like the same deck, only one is good and the other is evil. Dark World's cards rely on their own power and their own effects to swarm and destroy. Fables on the other hand rely on teamwork, flexibility, and Synchros.

Your best bet this format though would be either Chaos or Twilight I think.

they rely too much on spells/trap cards making dark world seem too helpless, while for fabled they can use their own effects to discard spaming more monsters out on the field creating a better OTK before you can get those spells/trap cards to activate monsters effects if your running dark world...

Or maybe you're just building the deck wrong?

    my draw!
    *hand 6*
alright! first, I'll normal summon Krus!

then, I'll discard Grimro to search a Catsith out of my deck.

next, I'll discard Catsith to summon Nozoochee, who then summons Chawa!
    [IMG][IMG][IMG]

    then, catsith will destroy hyperion.

now, I set a card, then tune Chawa with Nozoochee and Krus for Ragin.

ragin lets me draw a card.

    battle phase---
I direct attack with Ragin! *your LP 5700*
    then, I'll end my turn.

    LP: me, 8000 you, 5700

every single time I've dueled DW with my fables, I've won easily. Well, the time I used both morphing jar and card destruction wasn't exactly easy, but that's forcing DW to discard their hand more than once.

    Bravo. Very entertaining.

I really need to get more resources to make the Deck that I really want...Until then I won't be doing anymore random draw Dueling here.

oh well uhm... curse you Meklord Emperor Troll! I should really have remembered you had those in your deck, and asked for a chain. because I drew the card for Ragin, it wouldn't be fair to undo summoning him, my turn stands as it was, minus attacking.

    ...wait he cant?
*takes it out of my fabled deck plans*
why would you have a gorz if Fabled can spam enough monsters to have your field always having 1 card on it anyways? >_>
    I end my turn!

    Your field should be this:

    S/T:

    Monsters:

(Remember that Ragin goes in the back)

You should've posted it like this:

I activate the effect of Meklord Emperor Granel!

    And absorb your Fabled Ragin!

no chain. Let's see if the heart of the cards kept your hand survivable.
