I've never been in a Fire Emblem mood. Mainly because I've never played them. Don't think I ever will though. I know they're good games, and I acknowledge that, but I just don't like those grid games where you have to control all those characters and stuff. I just can't get myself into them. That's why I couldn't keep Final Fantasy XII: Revanent Wings, I just couldn't handle that kind of playing.
I've had a pokemon, Megaman, and Final Fantasy mood though

I ended up dueling someone with Exodia, basically all of his cards were just to grab more cards and get the whole set. I mean, I only got in like 2 moves because he used about 5 or 6 draw cards every turn. Kinda annoying really. I consider Exodia a little cheap, since you win without doing anything

I faced this guy who used his entire deck turn 1. the only reason i won is because he forgot a piece lol.

Actually, you can bring back all 5 parts of Exodia with Exodius. Every Exodia-Deck should at least run 1. Then you can also send the exodia parts to the grave.

BTW: A Card to prevent damage: Waboku / Threatening Roar (I am a stall expert^^)

The other cards can be Treasure Map, which can only be activated if it would be returned to hand. You draw 2 cards and discard 1.

Also: Does a Field Spell exist, which prevents your spells/trapps to be destroyed?

you call yourself a stall expert, and yet you don't use thunder of ruler or one day of peace?
@ surviving exodia decks: turn one trish FTW!
Once, I summoned two trish on turn one, due to pot of avarice.

It is the enemy main phase, so you can't play both.^^

And Infernities can also summon infinite trish in a loop.

use thunder of ruler in the standby phase, you don't have to worry about the turn, same as if you'd used waboku or threatening, and if you use one day of peace on your turn, you don't have to worry about their turn, And you get to draw a card.

If they actually could consistently, they'd be top tier, but they obviously can't.

Well, it was a answer to the question how to react onto the played Giant Trunade....

except that that wasn't the question at all.. If you look, the trunade was played on Jaden, unless I'm missing something. His question was because he was building an Exodia deck.

Okay, building an Exodia Deck. The best actual engines which you use are toon table + toon blue eyes + trade in, DWD + broww, cards of consanse + white stone of legend and broken bamboo sword / golden bamboo sword.

Key card is Royal Magical Library

With that, you also use all avaiable draw cards like upstart goblin, one day of peace, hand destruction, etc.

    Finally, Exodius.

except that that's not the type of exodia deck he's building. He's doing a searcher exodia.

So you want to stall + search, well, that is nearly impossible today. In a stall deck today, you want to play anti-meta with also negating the enemy effects and banish all cards. Cards like Skill Drain, banisher of light or something like that. But that would destroy the search engine. On the other side, a search engine alone can't do the job. You would still need enough draw power. I think, some combos with Appropriate could solve that problem.

    not really.

no.. you want to run stall cards.

that's not necessary any more than destroying their monsters is.

That's anti-meta, sure, but it has nothing to do with stalling.

again, how does this help stall?

Banishing would, but Skill Drain would leave it untouched. Why you'd want either though, is beyond me.

Of course not, that's why you stall.

or time to get them by standard draw, via stalling.

That would, but that's another type of exodia entirely.

Well, but to stall, you also need cards which defend your stall cards. And what you can do if an enemy starts an inzektor loop?

Or the enmy plays a chain material loop?

Or best, the enemy plays the wind-up loop?

You lost... To win, you need to negate their loops. And defend cards which can do that.

BTW: A good card for that would be defense draw, negates damage and you can draw 1 card.^^

    3 Cyber Valley are must.

    3 One Day of Peace

    3 Pot of Duality

    3 Skill Drain

    3 Upstart Goblin

    3 Threatening Roar

    1 Sangan

    2 Waboku

    3 Fiendish Chain

    3 thunder of ruler

    3 Emissary of the Afterlife

    5 Exodia

    1 Exodius

    3 Deep Diver

    1 Pot of Avarice

Still, this deck has a major weakness, it is unconsistant and it is slow. And it is easy to defeat.

waboku doesn't need to stay on the field, and that's the kin of stall card you're looking for.

if they burn loop you you're dead, same is true of basically every deck.

wind-up loop hits draw power exodia harder than search exodia, because you end up with stuff like trade-in and white stone of legend without anything to pair with. Both can recover exodia pieces with Pot of Avarice.

    Or Exodius.^^

Well, if you can break the enemy burn loop, you win.^^ But for that, you could fill the side deck.

Cards like d.d. crow, the light and the darkness mirror, snowman, fossil dyna, mst or even cards like rivalry of warlords / gozen match.
