Im back for a bit, yes my annoying presence is here, but so is my ability to agree or disagree

 

So Jaden, what all have I missed?

 

There is a theory on why Synchros don't exist in Zexal. But nobody knows the reason for sure. It could be that people realized that Aporia's warning about Synchros destroying the world was true and they stopped using them for that reason maybe.

Unless their technology devolved, it has to be a parallel universe or Yusei discovered that Aporia was right, and thus outlawed Synchros which would have made the same mistake come to pass again, which would have triggered Z-One to go back in time and duel Yusei again...
so time would have infinately looped around the 5Ds era...
which means ZeXal most likely is a parallel universe.

You may actually be right.
Unless Synchros, like Fusions, became a rare use, they most likely screwed up the plot.
It could have been a parallel universe, but then I remembered they had that dojo with the duel monster statues...
which were enough proof that this isn't a parallel universe since the history is the same.

Though they could still have ended up like Fusions and became under used >.>

Synchros HAD to be outlawed because if Synchros did not get outlawed, Z-One would never have traveled back in time to duel Yusei...
which means Yusei would cease to exist...
ZeXal branched out from the time loop Z-One caused so 5Ds is still looping in time but ZeXal is not.
it makes no sense and yet it does >.>

in other words...
ZeXal shouldn't have existed.
ZeXal should never have been possible...

 

Ah, but what if it's not a single straight line, but rather that the future Yusei worked to create is a branched-off timeline from the future me and Z-ONE came from... what then?

 

Then Synchros should still exist in ZeXal but became so underused that we never see them being used anymore.

 

Isn't that what's happening the current metagame? Most decks don't use many synchros at this point, and the only tuner the tier 1 decks use at this point is effect veiler for it's ability...

 

Most meta-game decks don't use Synchros anymore because the universal Synchro engines were banned in the current format, while the Xyz were un-touched. Its a marketing tool by Konami to sell their newer booster packs and decks while steering people away from the older stuff that worked.

 

Yeah and I've noticed how the animes always seem to keep up to date with the current banlist formats of that time too.
