I have an idea... I could re-write Arcanis as a villain, and the plot could be that he's trying to create a large-scale incident like the temporal disaster he survived at Tolaria, in order to study the entire lifetime of a civilization in the course of a mere few months-a year, which would ultimately end in their world's destruction.

 

I love it! Great idea!

In that case I'll just join as Season 4 Jaden.

No, there isn't. lol MtG doesn't have a tv series. The most they do like that is a book series.

Yeah, I know. I played that one lol. Though the guy playing this one was bad at the game, needed to start with three more mana than his opponent, meaning he got his better creatures earlier.

Backstory:

Carrie was born in Radiant Garden and was the older sister of Ienzo. She was best friends with Lea and Isa. When she was young her parents died. She went to live with Isa’s family while Ansem the Wise took Ienzo as his apprentice. Although they lived apart she and her brother got along very well and did things that other siblings did-like driving each other crazy. Carrie along with Lea and Isa met Ventus, thought she did not attempt to help them get into the castle after meeting with Ven.
When their world was attacked by the heartless, Carrie ran towards the castle to find her brother. Half way there, she was attacked by heartless and was saved by Rinoa, Squall’s girlfriend. Rinoa told her that the castle was as good as destroyed and that her brother was already gone. Rinoa brought her to Cid’s airship and that was the last time anyone saw Rinoa.
When everyone was in Traverse Town they learned that many people were dead and missing including Cloud, Tifa, Rinoa Ansem the Wise, his apprentices (including her brother) and to her horror-Lea and Isa. Carrie trained with a katana and helped defend Traverse Town from the heartless. During her time in Traverse Town and Hallow Bastion/Radiant Garden, she never met Sora.
She went with the others back to Hallow Bastion and joined the Restoration Committee. She continued to fight the heartless and later the nobodies. She fought so that people wouldn’t die like her brother and friends did. Carrie fought during the Battle of 1000 Heartless, but she did not see Axel or anyone else of the Organization 13.

In MtG, Arcanis is a survivor of a temporal incident at Tolaria, created when an artificer's time machine overloaded and blew up, creating bubbles of strange time events, such as bubbles where time moved slower, and ones where it moved faster. Arcanis' goal is to create a fast-time bubble big enough to engulf a planet, so that he can study the entire lifetime of a civilization within a few months' time. This, however, would result in the destruction of the planet in question at the end of that period, so, naturally, the good guys want to stop him from destroying the world.

 

I would like to comment that from the inside of the bubble, time wouldn't appear to move any differently, and if the bubble didn't move with us we'd orbit out of it quickly, assuming it didn't envelope our entire orbit. The main problem we'd have is we'd have a large gap in sending/receiving information to/from objects outside of our bubble, and any missions out of there would come back hundreds of years later. Although, if the moon wasn't in the bubble, we'd out-run it quickly, and tides would mess up, we would wobble on our axis more, so day/night would be less regular, and seasons would be basically non-existent, and temperatures would change dramatically, and quickly. That wouldn't be so good..

 

Understood. That would only make it all the more appealing for his purposes, as he studies how the beings of the planet react to the sudden drastic changes in their planet. The bubble wouldn't be in one place, as it would be held in place, orbiting with the planet as it moved around the star. Arcanis is very intelligent, and would have considered these factors already.

but..if it increases the speed of time on said planet, would this mean it would orbit around the star faster and eventually just crash into a nearby planet and/or other stuff in space and be destroyed? I mean...the life forms living on it wouldn't even have time to react. If the moon was outside of the bubble, the planet would also just crash into that as well...

 

Don't be a simpleton... The bubble doesn't change the ring of the planets orbit, it simply makes it move faster. Your world shall become my experiment...
