It does indeed start a chain, and the one that is chain link 1 is always the winner. Also, turn player has priority to decide whether or not to activate their honest first.

Goes like this:
Example: Judgment Dragon (Opponent: 3000) vs. Hieratic Dragon King of Atum (Turn Player: 2400)
Atum declares attack on JD:
Damage calculation:
Turn player drops Honest, becomes chain link 1 (Unresolved)
Only chance to chain here: Opponent drops Honest, becomes chain link 2 (Unresolved)
Resolves in reverse order:
Chain Link 2 (Judgment Dragon: 3000 + 2400 = 5400 ATK)
Chain Link 1 (Atum: 2400 + 5400 = 7800 ATK)

Atum destroys JD, and opponent takes 2400 damage.

I admit this didn't exactly go according to plan though. I actually wanted to trick you into using your Necro Gardnas on my Shining Flare Wingman so I could do this.

EDIT: Lol I knew I shoulda used Prohibition to stop Honest...Then my plan would've been flawless...

DOUBLE EDIT: Lyris forfeited. It's a shame. I had this super awesome move I wanted to use. I was gonna summon Divine Neos and banish Shining Flare Wingman for his effect. What a pity.

5000 LP? Is that a typo? I think I'll pick the anime exclusives that were legalized in Tag Force. Those should work.

 

no, not a typo, 5000 is right, i orinaly wanted 2000 lp, but that would be ridiculs
i never played Tag Force, the only Yugioh games i have played were capsule monsters and reverse of arcadia

Fortunately neither of us have that card in our decks. This might be a good time for me to try the old school side of my deck again. 2000 LP would still be very short though.

 

I would say go for original 4000 LP, the same amount they use in the anime.
