The Yu-Gi-Oh! Card Duel Arena 8.0!

Hopefully this will make Konami see that Messenger of Peace needs to be Limited...

There are so many things wrong with that list it's not even funny...

I personally would never use more than one Lightning Vortex or Burden of the Mighty and many other cards that are quite powerful but yet untouched by limits or even semi-limits.

I think that cards like Lightning Vortex, Burden of The Mighty and Messenger of Peace are too powerful to be at 3 and should at least be Limited but that's just me.

 

I don't really think those things are that powerful..
Burden can't effect Xyz and Messenger can just be destroyed.
while lightning vortex.. I don't think people usually run more than one of those.

 

Outside of Fabled and Dark World, Vortex only generates advantage if your opponent has three face-up monsters. Since you can just use things like BTH to always be able to hit big monsters before they can do much, and TT for when the opponent summons 3+ monsters, Vortex doesn't see that much use.

 

And that's another thing that shows how ridiculous this game has gotten now. Such powerful decks and cards are somehow not competitive and good because of all the cheap and broken decks that are being used so commonly now...

 

Messenger of piece affects you too. and its 100 lp every turn. isnt that great.
Lightning vortex is a -1, and it can only give you a plus when your opponent have more than 3 monsters.Fred is Totally Right.

Burden can't affect xyz,brook is right too.

Torrential is better than vortex because it can destroy 2-3 monsters on your opponent turn,and it isn't -1,unless you have a monster.


All this cards are spell/traps,this is why Royal Decree,Mst,Night Beam,And Naturia beast and naturia lvl 6 are at 3.
Effect monsters? Skill drain and Veiler at 3.

NOW? YOU SAY NOW? Thats ridiculous Bro.

What about TELE-DAD format? what about Goat And Chaos Format?

on tele-dad,goat,or chaos format,bad cards don't had at least 5% of chance of winning.

Today "Bad" Decks can fight against top tier decks,better than bad decks of the past.

This is Yugioh,All Formats are going to have Broken Decks.and bad decks,are going to be Bad.Thats the Truth.

If you want to play a game with no "broken" decks,and a games who take a lot of "skill",go play Magic The Gathering.

Only 100 LP per tun? That's the lamest cost I've ever seen. It should be 1000 instead IMO. And it's quite abusable in certain decks.

A -1 from the hand is a pretty small price to pay for clearing the opponent's front field of monsters. Especially if you're running it in a deck like Fables for example in that case the cost can become another plus in your favor.

This game is even more broken now than it was then. That's what I'm saying.

What's your point? Just about every card in the game is destructible. =P

exactly.
there are so many cards that can destroy continuous stuff, cards like gravity bind, level limit, and messenger aren't really that big of a problem.
with them, we can make new decks with Xyz monsters too.. which is probably why Konami made them semi/unlimited.
what's broken are stuff that do the destroying, like Inzektors for example.

Edit: I mean.. destroying stuff while getting +1s.
