The Yu-Gi-Oh! Card Duel Arena 8.0!

I watched for a while, and then spoilers happened, and I found it more amusing to end the story right before Orihime was presumably going to do spoilers. It was long enough ago that I can't really offer advice as I wont have a clue if it's fitting, and I probably didn't watch enough anyway. I can still offer commentary on any customs you do make though, and advice about wording like on Urahara.

 

Thank you. I can't really think of what effect fits Ulquiorra's first form. Got any ideas?

 

He was sent to gauge Ichigos strength, so maybe an effect that reveals face-downs or cards in hand could be used. He only uses his sword against powerful opponents so perhaps a boost in attack and defense power when fighting enemies with high attack or defense. He apparently has incredible regeneration, so perhaps being able to special summon himself from the grave under certain circumstances?

Edit: Or maybe he could be unaffected by any card effects that didn't destroy him, since he can't regenerate vital organs.

...that's a..Volca..
except he can still attack directly and he can do it more than once per turn.. and he can be used more than twice while volca can only be used two times, due to him having only two Xyz materials.

 

He's even more powerful than volca.. as he can banish and doesn't say original atk. also, his effect can't be chained to.

 

What is this "Volca" everyone keeps talking about?

As for Stark well he was meant to be a bit ridiculous since he's the Primera Espada meaning Espada Number 1.

That's his basic. Then he'd have the first release where he has a pair of wings and a coat still, then the second release where he goes four wings no shirt.

Ah yes I see. I figured that out soon. Dunno what effect he should have in that form though.

 

well, since you made his ultimate a support spell.. You could just drop a pair of stars, and a few hundred attack points, then re-purpose the current second release, then make the second release have a slightly weakened version of the spell built in, and some more attack points, then no spell at all.

Edit: if you really like the idea of the spell though, you could leave it as it is, and make the first release have increased stats, and combine the attack gain effect of the basic with the improved durability of the second release, but leaving the attack low enough that the second release is still an improvement.

You could also decrease the durability of the basic to only reviving if destroyed by a card effect, then giving the first release the addition of reviving off of battle too, which would make a nice progression into the second release's revive off of battle, and not being destroyed by card effects.

 

Maybe but meh the 2nd release wasn't used for very long though so I don't see a need to bother. At least I don't think it was. I just reached episode 270 of Bleach so I'm not sure.

 

Fair enough. It seems odd to skip a form, but whatever.
