saying that, and then logging off without talking about it? without even saying what deck they were using?

would a custom card that says "once per turn during your standby phase you can draw until you have 5 cards in your hand. once this card is removed from the field, banish all cards in your hand, on your side of the field, and in your graveyard." be broken? (yes its a continuous spell.)

no. Because it's during the standby it can easily be removed before it's used, and then you lose.

there's also stuff like Brio that can remove it, and once it's gone you lose.

how about "Once per turn during your main phase, you can draw up to 10 cards. if this card is removed from the field, remove from play all cards in your hand, on your side of the field, and in your graveyard."

way too powerful. that would be an instant win for any Exodia deck that could get their hands on it.

what about just change it to "once per turn during your main phase, you can draw up to 5 cards"?
    would probably be balanced then...

Edit: oops! meant to say "draw until you have 5 cards in your hand."

    No I'm not.

I think they were using a Junk Synchro Deck. It was pretty cool.

it would be interesting to see that combined with Phantom Hand.. It would also be interesting to see which Infernity people ran to power phantom hand.

I never will understand why my mentor thinks E-Heroes are a bad deck. I've gotten wins on DN against people with a much higher rating than myself. And it was all thanks to E-Heroes.

ok seriously, who the heck taught you yugioh? I mean, was he the one who got you into yugioh? And why do you call him your mentor? How come you don't call him by his name?
I taught myself how to play Yugioh....well, me and my brother. We played so often it was kinda rediculous. But he was the only one to ever buy more cards. I always went for the starter decks and stuff

when you dedicate yourself to a deck it becomes stronger. My Fables could always hold their own against Chaos, which is what your mentor uses if I'm not mistaken. And who would ever have thought Scrap Meklords could be such a powerful deck, and yet Brooklyn's managed to pull it off.

And who would have thought that someone could reduce blackwings to being so bad....and yet I also managed to pull that off *sulks in corner*

    indeed.
if you put your heart into it, it becomes a lot stronger than a normal E-HERO deck, and probably cant be used by anyone but yourself.
I can copy Fred's deck and have an exact copy of it...but cant use it like he does...
in fact I dont even think I could draw the same as he does, using the same exact deck he uses. (Fabled.)
if you trust your deck, your deck tends to trust you...and thus gets better draws.

the main part of a decks power now-a-days is consistency. Having a 60 card deck means you're only getting 2/3 of your possible consistency, maybe less, and are more prone to dead draws. As you work with a deck and adjust it the deck itself becomes faster, and more consistent, and you know how to work with it in more situations, so it's more powerful, but with 60 cards in addition to the less consistency, and the fact that you can't rely on drawing what you need, there's more to learn how to work with, so you'll get better with it more slowly.

oh boy, it's starting to get very sappy and cheesy in here

Ummm.....come again? Besides, I really don't care if it's 60 cards. Whether it's consistent or not doesn't matter to me, I'll work with it.
