That card has saved me so many times I've lost count...

Trap Dustshoot for sure. Especially with Mind Crush.

 

I checked out The Winged Dragon of Ra again...The new artwork is AWESOME...

But still the once Most Powerful Egyptian God Card is now "Godawful" in power...

I think that's a pretty good way to describe it get it? lol.

But this is too serious to be funny...

I can only imagine what they're gonna do to Slifer...I'm sure they'll make him Godawful as well...

I can live with what they did to Obelisk...They didn't dumb him down TOO Much...

But still I absolutely hate what they're starting to do to The God Cards...I think they should've just kept them as powerful as they were in the Anime but Banned them...That would've been better than this...

The God Cards suck almost as bad as The Sacred Beasts now...

Konami just doesn't know when to stop do they?!?!?!?

The Ban List is already absurd...I hate to think what it's gonna be like after this...

They should've just kept him as powerful as he was in SAWC2009 but Banned him...

That would've been WAY better than doing this...

And before you guys say anything, I've already heard complaints from other Yu-Gi-Oh! Players about what they did to Ra. (Yes, I really have)

The Ban List Konami now has is almost too ridiculous for words...It's just terrible that both Monster Reborn AND Premature Burial are Banned...I think I would've had a heartattack if they hadn't unbanned Call of The Haunted...

The Ban List is so ridiculous now that most real life Duels are probably gonna last like 50 turns before they're finally over...=P

Why is that? Well sometimes it can take a really long time for the right card to come along...And with Pot of Greed and Graceful Charity banned and Card of Safe Return now Banned and hardly anything AT ALL left for Draw Power to gain quicker access to Key Cards people are gonna often find themselves passing there turns...=P

Unless they are EXTREMELY lucky when drawing the right card that is...

 

Jaden, I can't even begin to explain how wrong you are right now.

First of all, there's plenty of draw cards that don't add to your hand, but thin out the deck so the right card comes along quickly. Second, duels do not last fifty turns, it's usually five to ten. The most I've ever seen a duel go up to is 15 turns. Right now we're in a quick-kill format, with Blackwings and Lightsworns running around. Those two decks can usually end the duel on turn 3.

Lastly, the ban list is not ridiculous. There's a few things wrong with it but it's mostly fine.
Oh, and even if Ra was as powerful as he was in SAWC2009 he wouldn't be banned. Wanna know why? Because it SUCKS.

 

Some of My Duels in SAWC2009 have lasted at least around 44 Turns...

Also, WHAT?!?!? What do you mean?!?!?

SAWC2009's Ra is VERY Powerful...It's WAY more powerful than the new one...

 

Jaden I'll let you on a lil secret. Try mystical cards of light. All it does is take up 2 s/t zone spots and you draw 2 cards every turn.

 

All it does is take up 2 of my Spell/Trap Zone Spots?

That's like saying all it does is destroy my defense and leave me wide open...=P

I've already heard of that card actually and it's not that great...

Every time I've seen someone play that card it only ended with them digging their own grave due to lack of backfield defense...=/

I always beat all the opponents who used it in SAWC2009 in very few moves...=/

 

Well I can show you that it works if you duel me after Jack

 

I'm telling you Jaden. No competitive deck can ever use either version of Ra.

 

Alright, Then would you mind telling me what the heck your idea of a Powerful Monster is? If you don't even think SAWC2009's Ra is powerful then what DO you think is powerful??? I'm not yelling btw, Just asking.

I mean, SAWC2009's Ra doesn't start out as a Sphere or turn into a 4000 ATK Phoenix and wipe out the opponent's field...

Other than that it's just as powerful as it was in The Anime...

 

I'm not saying it's not powerful. It's powerful all right, it just sucks.
You want an example of cards that don't suck?
Dark Armed Dragon, Judgment Dragon, Blackwing Armor Master, FGD, Goyo Guardian, Stardust Dragon...
The list goes on.
These are all relatively powerful cards that are easy to summon, unlike Ra, and cause a big problem for the opponent, unlike Ra. JD, BWAM, and other boss cards can destroy Ra.
