I see...At least Konami was generous enough to finally give us The God Cards instead of just those Godawful Sacred Beasts lol...

But the fact that they've made them suck just as bad as The Sacred Beasts defeats the purpose...

I'm sure they're gonna give us Slifer next and I'm sure he will probably suck a whole lot more...

 

I just can't believe what Konami has come to...

Miraculously I've managed to learn how to work with their new 15 Card Extra Deck...It wasn't easy but I did.

But still...I will NEVER forgive them for what they did to The God Cards!

I said it before...And I'll say it again!

Surely you guys understand how I must feel about this...

I mean, In The Anime The God Cards were The 3 Very Most Powerful Cards of them all...

So why couldn't they be the most powerful cards in real life too?

Don't get me wrong, I'm well aware that they couldn't make them as powerful as they were in The Anime, But still they could've at least tried to do a little more with them...So far the only one they've even bothered to try with is Obelisk...

I'm okay with what they did to Obelisk. At least Obelisk is still pretty much in all his glory...He just can't Attack or Inflict Damage after he clears the opponent's field of monsters.

But why would they decide to make him the most powerful God Card instead of Ra?

The Envoy fiasco was when the Envoys were still legal. They were so incredibly powerful that they were dominating the game. They were expensive back then, so if you couldn't afford the Envoys, you couldn't win any games, unless it was against people without Envoys. A lot of people were quitting.
If they made God cards(or any card for that matter) the "strongest card in the game", there would probably be an envoy fiasco.
IMO, there should be no "strongest card in the game".

 

The Envoys are Broken and Overpowered to the point that it's not even funny...I can definitely understand why Konami Banned them...

But didn't they create The Anime as well as The Card Game? If so then don't they care about how the fans feel about what they did to The God Cards? I would've thought they'd at least make them CLOSE to being as powerful as they were in The Anime like they did with Obelisk...

 

The anime is made by TokyoTV, not Konami. Konami is a video game company and toy distributor, they have nothing to do with the anime. So no, they don't care what the fans think.

And you're missing my point. The God Cards can't be too powerful or we'll have another Envoy Fiasco.
Hell, we're close to one right now with Judgment and Dark Armed Dragon running around.

 

I am gonna abuse the hell out of that Elemental Hero Neos Knight card...

 

Yeah, I have a feeling Judgment Dragon will eventually hit The Ban List...

And I'm thinking Stardust Dragon/Assault Mode will eventually hit The Ban List...

I'll start by saying once again that I can't believe how ridiculous Konami's Ban List is...

Sure some cards that give you advantage over your opponent at no cost should be Banned. I do find it understandable why they think Monster Reborn is broken cause it pretty much is...There's a pretty big difference between it and Premature Burial. Monster Reborn breaks the game pretty badly considering it lets you summon a monster from either you or your OPPONENT'S Graveyard at Absolutely NO COST...

But from the looks of it it looks like they wanna Ban EVERY Card that gives you advantage over your opponent at no cost...

If they ban Mystical Space Typhoon I think I'm gonna have a heartattack...

I already came close to having one when I learned about Pot of Greed being Banned...

I was like:

WTF??? NOT POT OF GREED!!! THAT CARD IS A MUST FOR EVERY DECK!!! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! THE WORLD IS GOING TO END!!!

Honestly, Do they expect you to just wait till the right card comes along through luck and not have ANY way at all to speed up the process? Pretty stupid if you ask me...

Now then, Back to what I was saying:

Even though it doesn't have a cost all it does is destroy one Spell or Trap Card on The Field...Seriously, It's not that threatening...Making it Limited is enough.

With a Ban List that's already this ridiculous I hate to think what the next one will be like...

If they're gonna make it THIS absurd they might as well start doing things like banning overpowered Normal Monsters with High ATK and DEF like Blue-Eyes White Dragon...=P

If I didn't know better I'd swear that they were just trying on purpose to piss off Yu-Gi-Oh Players...

But if that's not it then I don't know what their motive is...>_>

They're doing things like forcing us to use those Lightsworn Monsters because of how they are one of the only kind of Decks that will work with this new Ban List...

They're leaving us with next to no variety...

Seriously, I'll quit playing before I'll be forced to use nothing but Lightsworn Monsters and have to always rely on Judgment Dragon or Dark Armed Dragon to win...

If they're gonna destroy my Deck and leave me with no variety except to choose either a Lightsworn Deck or a Deck based on Dark Armed Dragon that completely ruins the fun of playing for me...

I don't know about you guys but I think that those Lightsworn Monsters are FRIGGING HORRIBLE...>_> They're not only weak but they mill your Deck to The Graveyard...>_>

The only way I've seen so far to make them any good is to use Honest...

I remember how I was Dueling against this CPU opponent in SAWC2009 who used them and I was winning easily until they managed to use Honest against me and turn the tables...

And again I'm going to have to go off on how wrong your opinion of the banlist is.

What you said is that you need to make sure that the right card comes to you and speed up the process.
This is true. But the point is to SPEED the process, not to overpower your hand. All the draw cards that aren't banned speed up the process without giving you advantage (allure of darkness, for example). This is fair, and it works. PoG is not needed, it's overpowered.

MST is a simple 1-for-1. It won't be banned. Even if it was unbanned most people would probably only use 1. It isn't really that great of a card.

oh, and

Lightsworns are some of the most broken monsters in the entire game. THe milling aspect is often used to the players advantage.
They have a searchable Breaker with Lyla, a searchable Monster Reborn with Lumina, a beatstick with ridiculous draw power in Garoth, and they have their broken boss monster, JD. They're one of the toughest (not to mention most expensive) decks in the entire game.

MST doesn't give advantage at no cost. It's a -1 from the hand.

And the point isn't that they want to ban everything that gives advantage to your opponent at no cost, it's that they want to ban SPLASHABLE, TRULY BROKEN things that do. Pot of Greed and Harpie's Feather Duster are a perfect example of this.

Don't get me wrong, there are some flaws, such as JD and Honest barely being touched, but it's a pretty decent list.

While you're here may I ask why Imperial Order is Banned? Why is that? It's just an Alternate Version of Royal Decree...Not only that, But it has a COST...And Royal Decree doesn't...

 

Because Imperial Order negates Spells, not traps. Therefore it's much harder to get rid of than royal decree.

Say Um, Why is Butterfly Dagger - Elma Banned? I always was curious about that...

That card doesn't seem banworthy to me...

Even though you have infinite use of it all it does is increase the ATK Points of a Monster by 300...It's not that threatening...
