Strangely nothing was done about Dark Simorgh despite it's obvious overpoweredness...

Well...at least I think I can safely say that this list is better than the last one...

But if they don't want another Envoy Fiasco I don't get it...

Cause I'm sure we're close to one with things like Majestic Star Dragon and Stardust Dragon/Assault Mode running around wild with no restrictions...

And I'll say this once again...I seriously have no idea why Dark Simorgh wasn't touched...

I mean c'mon! Your opponent can't set ANY Cards for protection? Not even MONSTERS? Doesn't that seem a bit unfair?

 

Majestic Star Dragon and SD/AM are way harder to summon than the Envoys.

And Dark Simorgh isn't overpowered. It's very hard to make a good deck centered around it.

 

Majestic Star Dragon is the very most broken overpowered monster I've ever seen that isn't a Custom...

And still, Dark Simorgh is a very powerful card and it should at the very least be Limited...

As i said, Majestic Star Dragon isn't broken because it's ridiculously hard to summon and only stays on the field for a turn.

 

Ohhhhh...Right. I forgot about that. I just assumed that it had a "If you negate an effect this way, you can Special Summon this card from your Graveyard during The End Phase" effect...:sweat:

Even though it can't be destroyed by battle The fact that it gains 10,000 ATK during your turn kinda defeats the purpose...They should've at least given it a "If this card attacks, your opponent cannot activate any Spell or Trap Cards until the end of the Damage Step." effect or something...

 

Why would you expect a fusion of the 3 sacred beasts to be good? The sacred beasts suck xD.

I don't know why Konami thinks they should give us The God Cards and then make them suck as bad as The Sacred Beasts...

They already gave us The Sacred Beasts which were intended to be the less powerful counterparts of The God Cards...So what's the point? Why couldn't they have just given us The Video Game Exclusive Versions of The God Cards?

That made it so you can't Special Summon him and they took away his immunity to being targeted by Spells, Traps and Effect Monster's Effects. And that REALLY took away his charm...

I really hope that was just a card printer error and it wasn't done on purpose...

If not then I hate to think about how bad they're gonna F*** Up Slifer...

But like you said, They didn't really change Obelisk. At least he is still pretty much in all his glory...

Now about The Ban List, In my opinion they should make it so it has an even balance with that of The Anime but with a few minor exceptions kinda like the one The Duel Arena has.

Duels would still turn out slow and epic. Especially because of that fact that there IS luck involved in the actual game. But in The Duel Arena there isn't. And the fans would still get to have the fun of using the cards that the characters use in The Anime.

But then again, perhaps that's the reason why they have a Traditional Format List am I right?

 

Well, traditional format isn't at a tournament level. There are no sanctioned (official) traditional format tournaments.

The reason for this is that in traditional, every deck is capable of pulling off an FTK. Basically, whoever wins the die roll to go first is the one who wins.
No one plays traditional format.

The Pay 1000 Life Points to destroy 1 monster on The Field is a nice touch.

But The Pay Life Points to increase it's attack by the number paid is just ridiculous...That should only apply to when it's Special Summoned.

When it's Tribute Summoned it's effect should be:
