Well I'm not sure if thats the case, its impossible to tell, but more likely than not, it is. Konami makes cards that are cultural references all the time. Just look at Dark Strike Fighter. It's Starscream from Transformers.
    Or Battlestorm. That's captain falcon
Or BW Sirocco the Dawn, thats Falco.
Or Blockman. I think that one's obvious...

    I could go on xD

Just so everyone knows. There's a reason why I'm not using the full Ban List in my Arena. Think about it. The very most recent Ban List Konami now has is just plain ridiculous...

    1. Monster Reborn is Banned...
    2. Card of Safe Return is Banned...
    3. Mind Control is Limited...
    4. Solemn Judgment is Limited...

I could go on all day with this one but I'll stop...I don't know how Konami expects us Yu-Gi-Oh! Players to have any fun anymore if they're just gonna go and destroy our Decks like this...I gotta say that I'm getting REALLY sick and tired of dealing with all this BS...

    Jay-den, it's times like this that I like to think my policy is best;

ALL cards are destructive in the right context. I mean, think about it. I beat you with a Maneater Bug forever ago didn't I?

Alright, Then would somebody mind telling me how the heck THIS card is useful?

Cause I think this card is just Friggin Horrible...>_>
    [IMG]

I mean Jeez...Why In The Heck is it called Instant Fusion if it's not even a Quick-Play Spell...They could've AT LEAST done that with it...Cause then it would have SOME value like being able to set it facedown and activate it during your opponent's turn as a method of defense...

The ONLY possible use I can think of for this card is to bring out a Fusion Monster to use as Tribute Food...But why would someone want to do that?

It's tribute food, dark strike fighter food, and awesome for synchroing.
For example, Arcanite Magician is a really good synchro card, but it needs a spellcaster type non tuner to summon it.

So people who don't like using spellcaster monsters just use instant fusion instead, to bring out musician king, and then just use a level two tuner.
It's also just awesome synchro food in general because you can summon any level between 1-5 when you draw it.

You can also just use the effect of the fusion monster you sumomn.

    Every card has potential, Jaden.

    BAD NEWS EVERYONE.[/farnsworth voice]

Netrep.net, the only website that saved UDE's card rulings before they shut down, is now shutting down.
This means that the only website left with reliable card rulings is Yu-Gi-Oh! Wikia.
YGO Wikia DOES have reliable card rulings right now, but they can be edited by anyone, so theres no way to know what will happen in the future.

Hopefully KDE will get those rulings up on their site eventually, but its impossible to tell when.

Synchro Monsters Count as Fusion Monsters Too?!?![IMG] I Didn't Know That?!?![IMG]

But Cool![IMG] I'm gonna have to remember that![IMG]

But that card still existed even before Synchro Monsters did...It sure didn't have much potential then...

When I first saw that card I thought What The Heck is this??? I'm better off using Polymerization than this piece of crap...>_>

syncrho monsters do NOT count as fusion monsters xD

What i meant was that you can get a FUSION monster with instant fusion(without having to fuse anything) and use it to synchro summon

You could also use it to summon flame wingman and summon I think sparkman then use polymerization to special summon shining flare wingman

im a duelist and i use a deck of 1387 cards and my style is trap and special summon for the win 1387 may sound like a lot but when planned right think perfect defense plus ability to keep opponent on ropes without the ability to fight back also one of my best cards is the wicked avatar
