Yes, and I don't think it's that broken.
you can summon monsters normally since Shock ruler only disables effects. you can set your traps normally, shock ruler doesn't stop you from doing that.
do you really need spells when your opponent has to do a -2 or more cards just to get him out? set super poly, problem solved.

I think this game is about to get approximately five times as broken. These new Fire King cards are seriously too strong..

If your opponent controls a monster and you control no monsters: Special Summon 1 FIRE Beast, Beast-Warrior, or Winged Beast-Type monster from your Deck. Its effects are negated and it is destroyed during the End Phase. You can only activate 1 "Assault of the Fire Kings" per turn.

During the next Standby Phase after this card was destroyed by a card effect and sent to the Graveyard: Special Summon this card from the Graveyard. When you do: Destroy all other monsters on the field. When this card is destroyed by battle and sent to the Graveyard: Special Summon 1 "Fire King" monster from your Deck, except "Fire King High Avatar Garunix".

Even without the rest of the deck I think that's enough.. Add in the combo with Sacred Phoenix, which can also be summoned by Assault, and you're nuking the entire field during each and every one of your standby phases. And then, of course, they have more monsters, another powerful support card.. And most of their stuff probably isn't even out yet, since we've only seen six cards, and they have an entire structure deck..

They should make a Zorc card.

 

I always thought they should too. IIRC though Zorc was even more powerful than Exodia and only Horakthty could beat him. If they made him a real card I assume they'd probably give him an instant win effect like those two.

 

well..
if I was given the chance to Volcanic Queen your number and set five face-downs without them being locked down/destroyed before your next turn, I'd use them.. and if they're all negated, then in the same sense that Quasar + five face-downs can be considered unbeatable, the one who summoned number 16 loses due to the no unbeatable combo rule?
same as for if I tried swarming the field with Fables and all of my synchs were negated and all set traps destroyed.
of course, that's one of the problems with non-random dueling..
you have LaDD banned, why not ban Quasar too?

 

Somehow, i think Exodia might be just a little bit stronger than that.

 

I remember that card but I don't think that's the same Zorc...

 

Bakura played as Zorc in his RPG game against Yugi.


it is indeed different from the Zorc Necrophades though.. but he's still Zorc.
