I've fucking had it. Dark Worlds are so broken it's not even funny. I literally just had a duel where I couldn't do ONE DAMN THING without being negated, destroyed, emptied of a field, and finally killed in one turn.

I'm literally thinking of quitting the game it's ridiculous how cheap these decks are nowadays. It's just broken meta's trying to outdo each other.

DW has nothing to do with negation.. I'm assuming you've never faced dino rabbits if you're complaining about that.

@"Broken meta's trying to outdo each other" isn't that the point? Wouldn't it be pointless if you held back just because you were strong, when there were others as strong as you? What would be the point of fighting if people didn't fight their hardest using the cards available to them? The fact that someone is stronger than you should be a goal for the future, even if you can't take them on right now. Taking down the meta should be your goal, otherwise the struggle is pointless. And if the meta is too strong for you to have a fighting chance, simply don't face them. Fight strong decks that aren't meta anymore, and hone your skills and refine your decks and strategies against them before you try to fight the most powerful.

On a side note; DW isn't meta anymore.

Join the club my friend. I know how you feel.

And I mean EXACTLY how you feel. This is also a reason why I quit playing. I always have the same problem whenever I face Six Sams...

  11. Welcome all!
I would like to welcome you all to the Muscle Tower, We will here explain cards that should be banned for lack of fairness, too much power, ec cetra ec cetra ec cetra.
This week: Grapha, Dragon lord of dark world!
Grapha will not stay in the grave for long, concerting how fast you can pull DW monsters on your first turn, a well built deck of DW monsters will be able to have Grapha out in a manner of a few minutes, at the most. Grapha is a well used Fiend type, but unless you are running something like Macro Cosmos
    [IMG]
    or Dimensional Fissure
    [IMG]
Or an effect negation card like Effect Viler, your going to have trouble dealing with Grapha the entire duel. Grapha reads as follows:
Most of it's effect is stuck on your opponent's trying to destroy it with card effects. Although this effect is good for drawing and destroying, its not good enough. The main reason for it's needing to be banned is its very first effect. You can expend three Grapha's somehow, then double summon, and special summon as well, any Dark World monsters, then bounce them to your hand for three 2700 beat-sticks on your first turn. E hero decks and most meta can keep up normally though, so Grapha is not as much of a problem unless you cannot figure out how to handle him. For the most part, Grapha's ban needing rating is...
    5/10 Hammer's
Grapha's effect is bearable, and not too much trouble unless you can't figure out how to handle him, or use Inzectors or wind up monsters or the Shining. But his swarming and not staying down is a hard thing to deal with unless you can one shot your opponent's field, and deal enough LP damage. Overall, Grapha still needs to be banned, but just barely.
And until next time, Muscle tower will be waiting for your return so that we may rate how ban-able another card is! Ha ha ha ha ha!

Grapha is unaffected by effect veiler.

Also.. Grapha isn't ban worthy seeing how easily he can be stopped by cards like D.D. Crow and Dark-Imprisoning mirror.. or Soul Drain.
In fact, Grapha should never be banned because that would destroy DWs main strategy, causing a lot less people to play them.

Riku used to not play Grapha...
Of course, he didn't win much then, but still.

My main point was people do play without him.
Although you just didn't know about him...
    But still.

I didn't say banning him would make people stop playing them completely, I just said it'll lower the amount of people who do play them.

No I meant the way you kept on saying that we hate you when we keep telling you that we don't makes it seem like you're just trying to be an attention whore.

Got a girl on your team now I see. I have yet to meet a strong female Duelist. Though I'm sure they probably do exist.

EDIT: Well then again Lyris seems like she'd be pretty tough in the real game. From the looks of her playstyle she seemed to be replicating her playstyle in the actual game. And if that's the case then she seems to be a formidable player.

    That's...What I was addressing.
If I did, I would do that.
    Oh and @Fred
I can't believe I missed that. Err..I was looking for an error in the punctuation because when I read Brooklyn's post; I thought of Vivi's post (not directed at me, but still) that also talking about punctuation, so that's what I looked for. I'll look for all errors in the future...
