I think the game is fixed on me getting lord kroo >.> so I'm going to do the 100% Ryu Dragon recipe after getting enough for an S rank on that.

 

Seth seems relatively overpowered at the moment.

 

against a rare Ryu Dragon, Kab Kannon dies within about twenty seconds. that's how scary Ryu Dragons are.

 

Yes, but if you don't train anyone else you'll have issues later. I personally don't use him because he starts so powerful, and he steals so much exp.

 

Don't use him too much at the beginning or you'll regret it. Your other characters will fall behind and not gain any exp and you'll be in a real pickle later on. I myself like to make sensible use of Seth and only use him at the right times if I feel I really need him instead of treating him like the typical Jeigan archetype. And his stat caps will never reach the maximum so you'll wanna take him out later in the game since Franz and the other Cavaliers will surpass him later. Jeigan archetypes typically later end up being mediocre in an FE game. Seth, Titania and Marcus are worth making sensible use of though.

@Fred: Yeah that's something I forgot to mention. Franz only starts out weak. But he gets really good after you make him a Paladin. And he ends up surpassing Seth once he reaches his higher levels. Kyle and Ford also end up surpassing Seth after Promotion.

EDIT: Well almost all prepromotes in alot of FE games end up being inferior to characters that you actually have to train in order for them to get strong actually. Wolf and Sedgar on the other hand are both godly if you make them a Hero and a General. (Wolf a Hero and Sedgar a General)

 

As I said, everyone is really good if you actually use them.

 

Even Tethys is quite useful. Once she's leveled up enough she becomes virtually untouchable. And even if she does take a hit her defense actually ends up being pretty decent so she won't take very much damage.

 

Basically what i'm doing is everyone else carves the way to the boss and seth kills it.

That's what you get for using Seth too much at the beginning. In fact I would advise not using him AT ALL in the beginning of the game.

You probably shouldn't use Seth till the going gets tough. That's what I recommend. I used him a little bit in the battle where I first got Ross and Garcia and used him to help protect Tana in Chapter 9 I think it was.

 

It was the level with all the fog.
I rescue someone, run away and drop them to where i don't see any enemies.
Boss is two spaces away.

 

Don't rescue the citizens, either have Vanessa kill the spider if she can, or just try to finish before the spider gets there.

I mean don't use the rescue command to pick them up and carry them away on a flying horse. Simply kill the monster slowly walking towards them from the fog, or end the mission before the monster gets there.[DOUBLEPOST=1358995312][/DOUBLEPOST]You can actually have Vanessa carry one of your more powerful units and drop them in with the citizens, then have them rescue one citizen, and take it's place to fight the spider, although the spider gets heavy defensive buffs from the mountains.

Died same level Riku died in, then ragequit and had my system somehow forget I saved <.< I used him for emergency, that knight guy who I don't care to remember the name of that is broken in the beginning just to take out people with lances and axes most of the time, yet somehow a horde of newbs attacked me in said level and kills everyone but the main, then an Axe wielder attacked the main girl, who I critical-led, yet didn't kill by 1 hp, then he double critical-ed me and killed her for game. Well star if your up for a duel now I can use one of my real decks?That was just a deck I made out of a fun concept and a few friends said it was impossible.I somehow managed to pull out a decent deck out of it.It even went undefeated when I first made it for 6 duels.It actually beat my friends Knight deck (Cards with the word knight in them even though he uses cards that just look like knights and dont even have the word knight in them).
