apparently Julius is brainless, so I can keep jumping up and down and he wont be able to touch me. when he does catch me while I'm setting up balloons.. also, his command disabling powers are kinda mean.

    Edit: the controls are stupid.

Pegasus Knights are amazing if you train them early enough that you can train them. In my Ephraim game, my Tana could solo levels if she wanted to and there weren't too many archers.

  3. My first pegasis knight got hit by a weak weapon once regularly and killed it at full and t was a level 2 enemy to a level 5. I don't think its something you can say, also I had nothing to arm her with anyway

To kill level one Vanessa that's.. at least 16 damage, after defense. If that wasn't a critical hit, that was a very strong enemy or a double hit. But yeah, you have to be careful when you're training weak characters, and following them around with a healer is a good idea.

...You actually find a game easy where you die in only one hit and have to do virtually nothing but jump and dodge all the time? Either you must be insanely skilled or I'm the worst gamer ever born...[DOUBLEPOST=1359305381][/DOUBLEPOST]
Use the Tower of Valni to grind and level up your characters. Trust me you'll be glad you did. And it's a much less risky way to grind than to use the Arenas.

EDIT: Also I gotta say it's truly beyond me how somebody like you can be a Nintendo fanboy...I mean you hate hard games right? Nintendo's games are like 10x harder than Sony's...

There are grey areas inbetween, It's not "I should stay" or "I should kill myself", You could "Try and solve the problem" or something else. And I just didn't find it very challenging. Actually, I don't find most games challenging, I mostly just find a certain part challenging. I don't think it has anything to do with skill, Because I usually level up 2 more the recommended the first world/level/district/chapter of a game and I guess it makes a difference.

The first time I played a pokemon game, it was a game where there was a 2x2 patch of grass in the starter town. I failed to find the way out of the town, and ended up raising my starter pokemon to level 32 in that grass, before ever leaving.

I mean their franchises really. I think Dream Drop Distance and KH1 and 2 are about the same.

  10. I tried that, but I nearly lost everyone in the castle anyway and am too weak to do anything really to grind. I normally find them on equal levels, all game platforms. But I love Nintendo because I like the more kiddy cartoonist looking games rather than realistic style. Cartoony styles to me look like more fun and often times enough show more emotion than lifelike characters. That being said, I personally like harder games as they test my skills and make myself better. Sakura Samurai helped me gain more timing skill. Strategie games sharpen my mind and learn strategys. Platforming helps my hand eye and jump skill. Live time RPG like KH increase my overall skill and unpridictability. I am now at the fight with that lady with thunder magic. I neeeweeeeeed help!

Don't go past the first floor. Use the first floor to train for awhile and then work your way up. That's what I did.

  12. Okay.

Yeah that's obviously what the problem was. Cuz the floors get progressively harder and the later floors shouldn't be tried until you're leveled up enough.

I'm currently playing FF13 and while the Battle system is pretty much the same as Pokemon, except less diverse in moves, and more epic looking, I cannot defeat Cid Raines, And being a facility filled with robots , Behemoths, slugs for some reason, I have no choice but get everyone to a level 3 everything, Which is the Max at this point. I've already maxed out one of Lightning's and Hope's weapons. /sigh

    EDIT:

    I abuse commas... alot.

  15. I barely survived level 2. Also, it the magic lady in that level (The commander) able to be recruited? if not, I have no idea of how to beat her...[DOUBLEPOST=1359319325][/DOUBLEPOST]

    Sexism is sexist.
You could go to jail for domestic violence.

  17. But in my world, there is no jail! Bad people's heads just esplode.[DOUBLEPOST=1359320422][/DOUBLEPOST]Looks like I am going to either A. Restart at Chapter 11 turning traitor or I have to fight her with no training...

What's the name of the boss you're fighting? She doesn't ring a bell...

But I always play Erika's Story so go figure. That's probably the reason. And yeah I definitely would not go past the 2nd floor until after you've leveled up a fairly good amount.[DOUBLEPOST=1359330470][/DOUBLEPOST]
You mean because the boss is a woman?

  19. I dunno the name. The is that green wearing lady with blond hair from earlier. I have to face 44 troops with less than favorable amounts of men and I can't train because it won't let me out of the battle no matter what.
