Something about Asians playing the piano.. I'm not sure myself, but I've noticed a lot of people saying that.

While I agree that DDC is worthless due to sarc being there.. You act like your opponent is always going to have three counter traps and two MST in every hand, and while you will have trouble clearing their stuff with your MSTs, they'll always have a spare.

With my kind of luck this kind of thing DOES happen most of the time...

Well sort of...Because every time, And I mean it seems like every freaking time I can remember when I was Dueling someone on DN they would ALWAYS chain MSTs to my end phase after I set some cards. I was too scared to attack cuz I thought they might have a Mirror Force. And every time I think that I shouldn't risk attacking because I'm afraid of running into a Mirror Force they always turn out to be a bunch of MSTs instead...And everytime I think that it's just a bunch of MSTs it turns out to be a Mirror Force or a Bottomless Trap Hole or whatever...And that is SO infuriating...

Not if you're facing things like Six Sams, Wind-Ups, Inzektors, Chaos etc. And not if the opponent uses Dark Hole, Smashing Ground, etc...

  9. I meant just for the turn so that you won't have to worry about being COMPLETELY defenseless

if you're having that much trouble with the predictions, it might be worth running safe zone. If they BTH you, chain Safe Zone on whoever they hit, and it stops. They MST a face-down Safe Zone, you chain it onto one of their monsters and their monster gets destroyed. Either way it's a +1

With my luck they'll chain MST to my end phase and pop it the first turn that I set it...And if it was equipped to their monster well that would prove problematic...

people wont always set an MST. I only do it sometimes (when setting it was actually useful).
and if someone activated heavy storm and you chain safe zone, equipping it to one of their monsters, their heavy storm would destroy safe zone causing it to destroy their monster.
you wouldn't use safe zone on an opponent's monster without a plan >.>

If they hit it with MST the turn you set it, that's a one for one trade, and it takes an MST that could hit a warning or a BTH. It's bad if it's on their monster, so that's why you only put it on their monster as a chain to an effect that removes it from the field. It would be removed from the field either way, but now it also takes down one of their monsters. And if they don't kill it, it can protect one monster from stuff like BTH, TT, Dark Hole, Lightning Vortex, Mirror Force, all as a chain to them being activated. And if it's on before that it even protects against stuff like Chaos Sorcerer, and Mind Control.

So, because I'm something of an idiot with a few cards like this one, Safe Zone can be used on your opponent's monster?

    If so I like it.

Yup. Since it doesn't say one face-up attack position monster you control you can use it on anyone's monster. The only thing of note is that it wont stop your opponent's monster from attacking you directly. I've seen some people try to use it that way.

  16. Most equip cards can be equipped to either side of the field.

Ah, ok, and I was right then assuming it wouldn't prevent that, seeing as it is still your card, the effect isn't reversed.

I know that. This is a Continuous Trap Card though

  18. Ah, I had never heard of it so I assumed.

I'm trying to find a good card that'll Banish one of my own LIGHT monsters so I can effectively use Lightray Sorcerer. Ideas guys?
