Huh that's funny Tag Force didn't do it like that...I thought we were playing with shared fields, LP, graveyards and banished zones...

I'd have thought that too. The DS games do it like that, and it's more like cooperation then the other in my opinion, since you have to share a field.

OOC: I think it's a helpful counter to what you and Yusei do. I mean it's pretty much the only defense against a field with 5 Synchros and 5 Facedowns. Well mainly if some of the said Synchros are a Shooting Quasar Dragon, a Shooting Star Dragon and a Stardust Dragon.

 

quasar + five face-downs = six negations. gg. On top of that, if you premptivly drop a "C", not in chain to an effect that SS's, they can set five face-downs for game.

 

Even if you use Maxx C at the beginning of their turn without them knowing it till they had already set up that big field of Synchros?

 

then that's their problem.
you either drop "C" in response to an SS or you lose.
Yusei had five face-downs, a stardust, a shooting star, and a Quasar.. meaning you can't destroy his backfield.
It was basically an unbeatable combo. its only weakness was Maxx "C".

 

If only I had that card back then...

Still I don't see a problem. Maxx "C" is splashable and helpful against things like that. Besides you'd never see a field of 5 facedowns and 5 monsters on only the 2nd turn of the Duel in the real game anyway. I think this helps promote conservative play.

Btw,Broken moves like that should be banned on the arena.

You don't even know what it is and yet you're doing it? It means out of character. When you're RPing and need to speak out of character for a moment.

EDIT: And yeah I agree.

 

Out of character, meaning you're doing soemthing that a Character would never do or stop RPing as that person and speak as yourself.


I do admit, a field of Quasar, SSD and Stardust with 5 facedowns can be troublesome, I should know, I was the one who created such a field once, and Red or Sytx was pretty worried if he faced that.


But a more devastating field for my poopnents is when I figure out a field of Quasar, Shooting Star, Stardust, Stardust Assasult Mode with 5 facedowns, giving me 5 negations and 5 facedowns to do anything with.

 

Luckily that's impossible, as you need to use Assault Mode Activate, which takes up a face-down slot.

Also, I find it amusing that when rafael says "inb4 what's an OOC" people think he's asking that.
