It doesn't deserve a hit, since we have mst at 3 and a lot of backrow hate. And Some decks like Hero,Dino Rabbit,And Wind-ups,can still fight against macro hehe.even my synchro plants did very well against rikus macro deck o.o[DOUBLEPOST=1347482984][/DOUBLEPOST]

both are so much different xD

Slifer is For Control,Obelisk for Attack,And Ra for otk's...

That's no excuse. By that logic Royal Oppression and Imperial Order shouldn't be banned either.[DOUBLEPOST=1347483809][/DOUBLEPOST]
Yeah Konami really ruined the God Cards. They should've AT LEAST made the other 2 immune to being targeted by effects like they did with Obelisk.

I don't think Macro Cosmos is anywhere near as big a threat as those two. With Royal Oppression, you've basically got a continuous Solemn Warning for a fraction of the price, and Imperial Order is like an instant Horus LV8. *shrug* I just kinda think it's not as big a deal as those two.

And yeah, for "God Cards"...I'd much rather just use my three monsters for something like Destiny HERO Plasma or Arcana Force EX (Light or Dark). Much better effects, they can be summoned the moment you get three monsters (can even be tokens!) and they aren't as dangerous to use as Ra (need to pay LP to get his ATK) or Slifer (need a hand of at least 3 to be any bit useful)

Slifer is still useful at 2k, as he lowers atk by 2k every time something gets summoned (not counting flip summons) in face-up attack position.. and if they were summoned in defense, they wouldn't be able to kill Slifer by battle that turn anyway.
you would need to summon a monster with 4k atk to be able to get even with a 2k Slifer.. and by then, you'd need to decide if it's really worth raming into Slifer or not.
nothing would normally be able to beat a 3k atk Slifer by battle and still survive after being hit by its effect.[DOUBLEPOST=1347490690][/DOUBLEPOST]

Which is why you don't kill it by battle. Just use any Spell or Trap that destroys, bounces, or banishes, or use a Flip effect that destroys, banishes, or bounces.

Still, his draining effect is pretty cool for making sure your opponent can't set up an offensive line.

The likelyhood of having all of this on the field at once is rather unlikely but...
Slifer + dark simorgh + Horus lvl 8 + Royal decree

In most actual games, I'd say just the Horus + Decree is necessary

    More like

    Horus LV8 + Destiny HERO Plasma + Jinzo/Royal Decree + Shooting Quasar.

    Good luck getting that out.

They are more broken that's true. If Royal Oppression hadn't gotten Banned I probably would've had a heartattack...[DOUBLEPOST=1347501316][/DOUBLEPOST]
Yeah not only that but some decks can even abuse it and use it to only shut down the opponent's Special Summons and not their own...

The God Cards just shouldn't be killable by card effects...That's just not right...

I think Ra should've AT LEAST had this effect:
    And for Slifer:
Seriously Konami...Why couldn't you have just done this instead?

Funny, as those god cards (Especially the ones in the TCG/OCG are much worse than these:
    [IMG][IMG]

If only for their summoning conditions being so completely easy (Most mill decks can get 10 monsters in grave easy by turn 2/3)

    Also: 3 God Cards?
Summon Metaion, attack, bounce all 3, deal 900.
    Problem?

Z-One did say that Metaion was the god of all gods..
although, I guess that goes for all of them.

no spells, no traps, no setting monsters, no summoning effect monsters, vs. a 2700 beater.
