How exactly do I sound insincere? Is there any way that I can prove that I'm truly sorry?

And well I always listened to my mentor and believed everything he said because he's usually always right about everything. And I always looked up to him and wanted to be a great Duelist like him...Hope you understand...

I never liked the way he treated me though. He never thought of me as a good Duelist and I could never impress him no matter how hard I tried...And he always made me feel bad about myself and my decks because of his comments...

Talking to you guys is much more fun. It meant alot to me that time when you told me you thought I was a great Duelist. Hearing those words along with all this is making me actually consider coming back to this game and playing it again.

Effect Veiler is already in the grave unfortunately.
everything else gets banished when sent to the grave this turn though.

    You're saying that..
you wanted to be a great duelist like him.. a duelist who makes people feel bad about themselves.
I don't see why you'd look up to a person like that, no matter how great of a duelist he is. (and I really think being a great duelist partially has to do with your character too.)

You sounded that way to me because after all you've argued with us, you end up blaming everything completely on one person, taking no responsibility at all for your own actions.
it just sounds like.. you claim to have no fault in your own actions and he was somehow making you argue with us.

just.. People who are truly apologetic tend to accept the blame, usually even more than is actually their fault. Those who apologize a lot, and try to shift them blame instead of accepting it tend to be the deceivers, and those who can't admit that they were wrong. If one isn't admitting that they are in the wrong, th.. hmm.. perhaps I'm wrong about that. Regardless, the best way to show someone that you want to change is to simply start changing.

@the duel.. Did Rienzel just use veiler in his own main phase?

I'll say this too if it means anything then:

I admit that I'm also to blame for listening to him. He always played so well though and I never saw him lose once that's why I say that he's a great duelist. I don't like his attitude at all though. I never said that. And I'm ashamed of the fact that I've become a dick like him and have caused my very closest friends to think ill of me because of it...

Just now saw this post. I think my reply to Brooklyn answers this one too though.

Why did that remind me of the trix commercial? lol
Are you sure universes are moving away from each other constantly so it could be possible one could fall down.

Now, in the universe, what decides which way is up or down?

Exactly. So therefore a universe is incapable of falling.
