Dream Drop Distance Theory For The Outcome of Dream Drop Distance *Spoilers*

True, true. Just since everybody was going on the whole 'dark Sora' thing, I thought I'd chip in my two cents.
Perhaps with the multiple Xenahort's, it could be a personality thing, and Old Xenahort and Yound Xenahort are the more dominant personas, with Young Xenahort commanding Nightmares, while Xenahort pulls the strings.

On a different track(and possibly unrelated, yet quite amusing), I was watching a newer FinalFantasyVersusXIII trailer, and does anybody else noitce that Stella seems very much like Namine, in look and dress and charecter? And Noctis, resembles Roxas and Zack Fair in hairstyle, and Roxas in dress and attitude? Just wondering.

 

I have to agree that Sora has so many personalitys inside him, Roxas, Xion, Ventus, and possibly Vanitas but debatable.

I can't tell what will happen but the new trailer does give me bad vibes that something bad and I mean SERIOUSLY BAD is going to happen to Sora and all those multiple personailtys would make even the sanest man crack under the pressure. Maybe an identity crisis but get the feeling the young Xehanort isn't bad but preparing Sora and Riku iin his own way for what will follow in KH3.

and if Master Xehanort is in on all this will we see the rise of...

(Just to reiterate, this was part of my theory from way before Birth by Sleep came out. In case anyone was curious.)

It's already been stated in the series (the secret ending to RE: coded) that Xehanort is back and a complete being once more. If Lea's appearance in the Dream Drop Distance trailers isn't proof enough, I don't know what is.

Sora's heart, unfortunately, is not pure; Leon put it best, "And there is darkness in every heart." So, his heart would not be the one creating the X-Blade. If Xehanort were to acquire the X-Blade, he would first have to extract both Ventus AND Vanitas from Sora which would, as you already stated, would probably leave Sora comatose.

Would Xehanort need Sora's body? Probably not, as Terra's body is only ten years older than it was before and is still in pretty good shape, not to mention he'd want a much stronger body (one of a true Keyblade Master) instead of the body of a child.*

* Just typing that creeped me out and made me feel like Xehanort is a pedophile. And on a random note, if we were all joking about this stuff, we could say that technically Roxas is Sora's and Ven's love-child (as it was out of love for their friends) and Vanitas is Xehanort's and Ven's...rape-child (for...the obvious reasons).

That's what I meant, Vaintas and Ventus seperate from Sora to get the X-Blade, while Sora or Terra serves as the host body.
And yes, Xenahort is a pedo. Just ask Aqua.

Yes, Xehanort is such a pedo. In all honesty, I'm surprised he showed more interest in Terra instead of Aqua. Aqua, as a woman, should naturally be weaker than Terra, a man (this isn't exactly sexism so much as it's just simple biology). If you corner her with Vanitas and Xehanort, she'd be done in nothing flat. Terra, on the other hand, put up quite a fight even against the darkness.

But then we wouldn't have Mansex. :D

I can imagine sora falling into the darkness and vaintas coming out of him,this theory makes a lot of sense to me
(pictures epic boss battle inside soras heart, vaintas vs sora, Venus and possibly roxas/xion? Awesome)
Also it would be a real plot twist as you don't often see the main character fall in this kind of game, and if your looking for symbolism think about the worlds in 3D, their getting darker, foreshadowing maybe?

 

If you want symbolism how about Vanitas taking over Sora's body and changing it to fit his image?

Really interesting theory. I've always really wanted Sora to overcome his darkness since it's never really had a significant impact on him yet (besides Anti-Sora/Anti Drive Form etc). He might have a really strong heart, but it's just not plausible to have so many "different Soras" without something happening to him. In other words, something's gotta give.

This would be an interesting twist. We'll see.

EDIT: And a fight with Vanitas would be such a cool concept.
