"This is all my fault.... I was stupid and let my arrogance get the best of me...now look where its got us..."Vanitas sighed. "Wait....I don't want her to be weak when she gets zapped...it wouldn't be as fun...."Xikari chuckled. Vanitas frowned, fighting off the urge to growl at being told what to do.

 

Mage glared at Xikari, growling. "I have plenty of fight left in me. I can't move or else my wrists will get sore." She did struggle a bit, annoyed.

 

"Stubborn little brat, aren't you...Start up the machine..."Xikari didn't even notice Ven sneaking into the room. Vanitas stayed a good distance from machine, watching Ven try and see if he could stop the machine from working. idiot, stay away from that....you could get electricuted as well...

 

Mage's eyes widened in panick, now trying to struggle free. "N-No, NO! You're going to kill me! I need my energy to LIVE!"

 

OOC: Have I mentioned how much I hate doing this kind of stuff, even though I'm good at being dramatic?XD
BIC:Vanitas frowned at mage's despair, wishing he could do something. Ven was doing everything he could to mess up the machine...or at least try to.

 

Shirax had been staring at Mage for the longest time, then went to find the on switch. "Zappy Zappy♪" he sang with a col tongue.

 

OOC:Alright, I'm going to do something so I won't feel guilty.XD
BIC: Vanitas got an instant idea, leaving the room. "alright, this is either extremly stupid or incredibly brilliant."He created a new unversed. This resembled the Wizard Heartless, only in the traditional red and black Unversed colors and long, slender legs. The Unversed emblem was on the front of its hat, and its shadowy face was now grey and looking at Vanitas with almond-shaped red eyes. "That should do it.... I'll call you Shadow Mage for now..."Vanitas said. Shadow Mage was still and silent. "You're going to be a big help to Mage....hopefully..."he said, making sure Xikari wasn't watching what he was doing.

Ven meanwhile was trying to cut a few wires, unplug cords and anything else to break the machine.

 

Mage's ears twitched, barely picking up the amount of noise Ventus was making. She would struggled more, but Shirax had flipped on the switch. She screamed to the point of a human's ear drums would bleed. This ill omen of sound flooded the streets, causing Strawberry to panic.

 

Vanitas winced at the scream, quickly chanting a spell he learned from Xehanort that would -hopefully- transfer Mage's spirit to the unversed. Ven quickly covered his ears and backed away as the machine went on, hoping he did something effective.

Sora was relaxing peacfully with Riku, ears twitching as even from that distance he could hear the noise. "What was that?!"he was certainly surprised.

 

That scream wasn't human.
But all of a sudden, as Mage's body started to crack and turn to dust, the scream cut off. Stopped, and no delayed echo. The energy spike given the Xikari's base was enormus... But the power just failed for whatever reason.

 

"Oh please tell me it worked..."Vanitas whispered. "what?! why did it fail?!"Xikari was not pleased. "I don't know, Lady Xikari..." "Its worked perfectly before..."Xirane and Xidanne were both confused. Ventus was trying to figure out a way to sneak his way out of the room.

 

A light, one single light, shined in the room. It showed a hologram, of Mage. "It didn't fail, you miscalculated. I AM your energy. And when I get my new body, there'll be hell to pay." The light flickered off, and that was it.

 

"Of that does not sound good."Xirane whimpered. "Oh, she's just trying to scare us..."Xikari frowned. "Oh dear..."Xidanne whined. Vanitas was checking the newly made 'Shadow Mage', hoping that his spell was successful.

 

A light flickered on by Van, then off. A small distance away, another flickered on.

Strawberry was getting antsy. Her master had made that scream... Her MASTER had made that scream! She jumped up, looking around. 'Where is Master? Must find her!'

 

Vanitas saw the flickering light and took the newly made Unversed with his as he followed it. Ventus peeked his head out from behind the machine, making sure the coast was clear as the others were supposedly distracted.

 

After a while, Van and the new UnVersed were directed into the power room. The lights were on, and a machine was buzzing. An orb was in it, the energy zipping. Another holographic Mage popped up. "The body's okay... Now, host, please touch your forehead to the orb. I will transfer myself. Be sure, Van, that thing you made has no mind of its own." The holograph fizzed out.

Ashir watched Strawberry, trying to calm her down. "Mom will be fine... J-Just please stay still..."

 

Vanitas nodded, checking the unversed. It was still a half-dead doll, no mind and no will of its own. It just stood there, a vacant look in its eyes. "C'mon...."he took the Unversed and pressed its forehead to the orb, letting go. He saw Ven coming up right behind him. "Glad you made it out safely....your lucky you didn't get zapped.."He ruffled Vens hair. Ven just gave a small huff, looking away from Vanitas.

 

The lights flickered off, the energy transferring. The UnVersed lifted its head staring at Van. Mage was in there, feeling for the new, inhumane body. She took a wobly step, falling over. She didn't know if UnVersed could speak.

 

"Hey, easy..."Vanitas helped Mage get up. "Can she speak?"Ven asked, looking at Mage. "She should be able to..."Vanitas said.

 

Mage tried speaking, getting some sort of slurred speech. She looked at her arms, blinking.
