    We had a lynx years ago. Or rather, we had a lynx living in our yard and impregnating our cat multiple times.

    I wonder what happened to him.

    Still have one. This one is a girl. Or maybe it is one-fourth lynx? They had a couple of generations, I get them mixed up sometimes...

    No. For one, not enough money. For two, I do not believe in the idea of owning animals. If I would not sterilize a cat I found in the woods, then I would have even less reason to do it to one that I liked against its will.

    I meant, I thought the offspring of a cat and a lynx might be naturally infertile, like the offspring of a horse and a donkey, the mule, is.

    Hm, I hadn't thought of that. Well, to the best of my knowledge they are fertile (maybe not this generation, no litters yet), and they share some qualities of the lynx—especially the amount and consistency of the fur and the ears.
