How much do I want to look out for when I fight the superboss? I'm working on the sidequest for it right now, getting the weapons, but I only just opened Eldrant, so I'm not quite there. I just wanted to know if there was anything I wanted to be careful of, or a certain level I should be (and I'm playing on Normal mode right now)

Define superboss? Like the Sword Dancer?

It's been years, but if I remember correctly, the second time you get to fight him (when you search the area on the field) you should be like 25 ish? I was always cheap, I would set Arietta, Jade, and Tear up with like one spell (Arietta's hammer of light is super effective) move and had them spam that while I drew it away and went in for combos when their attacks stagger-locked it.

If it goes for one of them, be sure to stay right centered behind it and wail on it, it'll focuses on you again.

If worst comes to worse you can always use Jade, I believe by now you should have the move where you can steal TP, or recover TP automatically, or something, then just run from one side of the arena to another, casting splash or whatever while he tries to catch up.

God, I was a cheap little censored word.

If you're referring to the SECRET secret boss, then GL;HF, be sure to use barrier when she casts stop, otherwise LEVEL99.

Yeah, I beat the sword dancer a little while ago. I fought the first one at around lv14 or so in the castle, took me a few tries, the second time I had a lot more trouble, so I went with the cheap way of using Anise(who you referred to as Arietta XD), Jade, and Tear, but normally my team is Jade, Tear, Guy, and Luke, so I haven't had too much trouble. The third time was WAY easier, especially since his HP stayed the same, and none of my characters died at all. Although I never got a chance to steal any sunlight chambers from him....and another although because I don't use them too much, since I don't quite get how they work. (yes, I've googled it, still don't get it)

And are you sure I have to be lv99? I don't think I like that, since I'm only lv63 or so, and shouldn't I be able to be a lot lower on normal? Please? Pretty please? Please with a cherry on top? .....OTL Help me whoever out there can help.

You talking about Nebilim? And what difficulty are you playing on?

    I scanned your post. >>

Anyway almost everything on Normal is a piece of cake if you know how to play and are at a high enough level. I'd suggest taking her on when you're around level 70. You can take her on earlier than that but only if you're confident in your guarding and dodging. Tear will be a necessity for this battle. She'll be your dedicated healer because Nebilim packs a punch. Don't worry about using items on other members of your party unless they're low on TP and instead use them only on Tear and yourself to not waste them. Besides that, play it safe and you should be able to beat her.

Well, considering how much I suck at dodging guarding is my only chance...and I rarely guard...OTL I pray for help when I get to her. And I guess that shows just how much I suck, because I'm on normal and I'm having trouble on some stuff (mostly advanced coliseum. I beat the advanced party team, but it cost me a lot of items. Those guys are ridiculous)

Oh Anise, whoops :P, it's been a while

One of my main tactics in Abyss was finding an arte to end a combo with that allows you to instantly move after (if I remember correctly, Guy's Tiger Blade is one). Then once your combo is finished just haul ass in the best direction that your opponent can't hit you, then coerce another attack out of them by running just within their range, but at and angle/around them so they'll miss, and you can stagger-lock them mid combo.

But yeah, Nebilim's a bit tough, I suppose 99 might be a bit over-level, but cut me some slack, it's been a long time :P

I'm betting even 99 won't be over leveled if you're doing it on Very Hard or Unknown. Since this is just my first playthrough though, I only have Normal and Hard, and I'd like to just get through on normal first

Edit: Eh-hem....I would just love to say this:
HOLY CRAP THIS LADY IS COMPLETELY INSANE!!!!!!!!!!!!!.....Maybe I should have actually waited till I was lv70 or over instead of being 69..........SOMEONE SAVE ME FROM THIS MADNESS!!!!!!!!!
