Gumi smiled and flew through the hole. Stopping at the other side, she looked around. "The mist is really thick here." She looked back at Neal. "Do not worry. I shall behave myself."

 

Neal smiled at her. "Good." He followed her through the hole.

 

The train soon came to a stop at Nepal station and as soon as James stepped out of the train he felt the difference in temperature, here was really cold. Freezing even. James put on the jacket he had and the gloves and then walked out of the station. He looked around, Lelouch, Gumi, Neal, Alex or any of the others were no where in sight. Though the street was quite crowded anyway so it didn't matter looking anyway. He started walking around.

 

Gumi flew off slowly, looking around. Stopping at another crack in the floor, she peered down into the gloom. "Even I can't see through there." Gumi was about to go down when the mark of the pact on her hand glew and stopped her from going any further. "Crap..." She muttered and looked back at Neal. "We're deeper unground then I thought. I'm too far away from Lelouch."

Suddenly, a hand grabbed onto James' shoulder. "Leaving without us? You're not going to try and find it yourself?" Lelouch asked.

 

Gumi flew off slowly, looking around. Stopping at another crack in the floor, she peered down into the gloom. "Even I can't see through there." Gumi was about to go down when the mark of the pact on her hand glew and stopped her from going any further. "Crap..." She muttered and looked back at Neal. "We're deeper unground then I thought. I'm too far away from Lelouch."

Suddenly, a hand grabbed onto James' shoulder. "Leaving without us? You're not going to try and find it yourself?" Lelouch asked.

 

James turned around to face Lelouch for a second before showing mock anger and turning back. "Who said I was? I just wanted to meet up with you guys again. Who if I remember correctly, left me to find the Black Rose by yourselves and didn't even search for me," James walked around stating at the icy glaciers ahead. "where are the others anyway?"

 

"I sent Gumi and Neal on ahead to see if they can find a better way into the Paramina Deadlands." Lelouch crossed his arms. "I came here because Gumi wouldn't be able to get much further since she'd be so far away from me."

 

"Right, so I guess I should wait here until they come back huh?" James said and walked in to a local shop to warm up. On his way there he passed a Chocobo who strangely was quite a different colour to the Chocobos he had seen before, it was blue. Strange one that Chocobo is, James thought chuckling.

 

Lelouch nodded. "Pretty much."

 

"Huh?" Neal said, confused. "Too far away?"

 

James came back with a box of crackers in his hand and started eating. "Have you booked a hotel yet," he asked Lelouch "we may be here for quite a while, want some?" He asked holding out the box of crackers to him.

 

Gumi nodded and flew back up. "See, I can't be too far away from Lelouch. I can go into my world freely because then, I'll be free to move around as much as I want, but here, I have a limit on how far I can go." she sighed.

Lelouch shook his head. "No for the crackers. Yes for the hotel."

 

"What do we do then?" Neal asked, worried.

 

"Tell Lelouch what we've found so far. Thats MY job. You go ahead, tell me what you find and how thick the mist is. Just think it and i'll hear." Gumi smiled and started to fly back to the hole.

 

Neal nodded and touched her cheek. He quickly flew into the hole.

 

Gumi waved him goodbye then flew off, back to Lelouch.

 

Darten looked at the sky first he was analyzing the book when suddenly he landed in a desert, he stood and ran towards a direction not knowing where was he anyway

 

"Okay," James said before continuing on eating his crackers. "when is dinner? I think it took me 2 hours or so to come here by train, which takes awhile."

Zephenox slowly crept out of the shadows and followed Darten. "Darten, long time no see. Don't be alarmed, I am not James, I only look like him through that book, however the comparisons will end soon, once I get rid of him."

 

Darten looked at Zephenox and said I know its you but why are you in my Mind? Slowly, a Oasis appeared his Other half, the Raven Mutant. Darten looked with a Sigh how many times do I have you force you in submission Raven?
