"do you like star wars?" um yeah perfectly reasonable question but given how much i do it's like asking can you talk
When I first started at my current job, as I was clocking out, a coworker saw my Deadpool wallet and asked who that was. Me: "Like, what's his name and what he does or who is he in detail in comic books?" Him: "In detail. What's his story?" Me: "Oh, we don't have that kind of time. I have to get home."
I get the strangest looks when I tell people I'm into video games. Apparently I don't look like the type. "No way! Do you play like Candy Crush?" "Nope. More of an RPG/FPS kind of gamer." "OMFG NO WAY. Have you heard of something called Call of Duty." "Yup. Getting pretty good with the tomahawks." "OMFG ROTFL NO WAY. You don't look at all like a gamer. More like a business person." And on. And on. And on.
The day The Phantom Menace got released I was stuck in a three days long welcoming event organized by my new school, in a camping in the middle of nowhere. There were these two guys who seemed to be as nerdy about it as I was. We ended up asking the camping director if he had a map of the area and if he could pinpoint the nearest theater on it for us. Apparently it was a couple hours walk away. We memorized the map as best as we could and tried our luck and SOMEHOW WE MADE IT IN TIME !!! One of us was limping on the way back but he regretted nothing. Good times lol.
I don' t remember if he had a medical condition beforehand or if he just took a bad step along the way. Nothing terribly epic I' m afraid. ^^
