Twilight Nigh

Jet's alarm peirced the silence in her room, causing her heart to almost leap out of her chest. She slammed it off, groaned and rolled over. Surely, being one of the dark five, she should get a lay in, unfortunatly she doubted that would count as an excuse for being late to classes.

BIC: "Papers" Seth murmered and got up and walked home to get them.

 

Obscurus contenued to stare into Cat's eyes, "what happened? Did a cat get your tounge?" he asked mockingly.

 

Jet quickly got ready, swung her bag over her shoulder and rushed out of her front door. It really wasn't fair that she still had classes, but, she smiled as she got an idea. She might as well take the scenic route. With a grin, she floated up off the ground and into the sky. She flew gently, admiring the veiw, this was definatly a better route.

 

Seth delivered the paper and caught a glimpse of a clock in one of the houses "That early?" He murmered "Damn birds" Seth said and checked his pocket "Should be enough for a cheap cofee" He murmered and went in search of a cofee store

 

Jet saw Seth as she flew, he was heading in the same direction as her anyway, so for a joke, she flew directly above him and wondered how long it would take him to notice.

 

Seth finished his cofee and leaned back in his chair...Then saw Jet and fell off his chair "You...the sky...HOW?" He asked then burst out laughing and picked himself off the floor.

 

Jet burst out laughing, "You should've see the look on your face. Well, you can do you mind thingy and I do this" She did a flip in mid-air.

 

"What a way to travel. I needed that surprise...I had a long night...I slept in a tree for some reason." Seth said "So where you headed anyway?" Seth asked

 

OOC:Sorry for being off for so long. Just couldn't find the time to get back on here.
BIC: "Exactly." Cat smiled as she knew what the outcome would probably be.
"CAT! YOU CAN'T REALLY TAKE HIM ON ALONE? DO YOU KNOW WHAT'LL HAPPEN IF YOU LOSE?"
"I KNOW EXACTLY WHAT WILL HAPPEN! But... it isn't going to happen... because I WILL WIN THIS!" Cat readied herself ecause she knew that this wouldn't be easy. "BRING IT OBSCURUS!"

 

Obscurus grinned, and sent waves of dark thorns out of his hands, they shot like snakes towards their prey.

 

Cat jumped out of the way before the thorns made an impact and leapt towards Obscurus to deal a decent blow to the face.

 

Obscurus pulled off a matrix move and dodged the blow, he then made a dagger out of darkness and shoved it up towards Cat.

 

Cat dodged but was still cut in the arm. She shook it off and ran back up to Obscurus to try and grab him.

 

Obscurus made a net out of shadows and threw it at Cat, then he jumped out of the way, not to much longer before my dark poison begins to weaken her, he thought.

 

Cat jumped out of the way of the net but didn't land correctly. She fell to the ground and felt weakened by the poison. "Hmph... only weaklings use poison." She had a potion in her pocket that could cure her. Angie had made it for her some time ago. She took it out, drank from it, and got back up. "And I came prepared for a lot of things."

 

Obscurus smiled, "ha, you think I am a weakling? All of my weaponds are poisonus to the light five, your bodies can not stand the power of pure darkness, everytime I cut your skin you will be weakened yet more, until you become a servant of shadows!" he said, as he created more knives.

 

OOC: Shameless jumping in? Of course!

BIC: Joly noticed the two up ahead talking. The girl was floating, which was odd. However, after what had just happened a few minutes ago at the cafe, not much was surprising anymore. He hurried up to the two. "Bonjour, bonjour," he said quickly to each. "Um, purely out of curiosity, have either of you two seen a creepy man in a cloak?"

 

"You slept in a tree?" Jet laughed, "And college, unfortunatly the world hasn't stopped for us yet"

 

"Yeah...Long night." Seth smiled "College huh? I remrmber that bit lame huh?" Seth laughed
