Underage Smoking and drinking.

Well, excuse me for not wanting to get high just to prove nothing would happen to me or my lungs.

 

I drink underage, but only at parties, i'm not the kind to go out in the streets and get drunk for the hell of it. Like Mish said Binge drinking is bad. At my age drinking isn't too bad, i'm 17, and very close to 18 the drinking age. I am mature enough to drink responably....most the time. It's just when i see 14-16 year olds getting drunk in the high street. They do it because they can, to show they are mature enough to drink, but getting drunk isn't a way to show maturity. Same goes for smoking, though I can legally smoke, I don't and never plan too, to me it's a slow of commiting sucide and wastes alot of money. People do it at 13-15 to try and act cool, and normally it's the 'popular' people that smoke. It's pathetic.

 

Some of my friends smoke to relieve stress. =/

Too bad they're now addicted.

 

Oh yeah, I remember this thing about how much money a few pack of cigarettes would be a week, ending up in hundreds to thousands of dollars wasted on killing yourself in a year.

From what I'm hearing (reading actually), your all okay with drinking. That's all fine and dandy. AS LONG AS YOUR OF AGE. If you underage, your not mature enough to drink and smoke. But, I have no problem with the people that do it. Its just, they wouldnt be as close a friend as a completly 'dry' person.

 

I can't stand the smell of cigs, I really can't. There is no point in smoking really since one that is addicted to it believes it helps them relax.

Major bull, mate. It stimulates the body so it does the exact opposite.

I've had a little bit of booze but it was light...besides, it was my dad's and I had to wash down the aftertaste effect with water.

 

As everyone else has said before; I really honestly have no problem with underage drinking except when done to excess. Getting completely smashed every night is quite obviously a quick, painful way to liver failure.

About the marijuana... it's illegal. Say what you want about "medicinal values"; if not prescribed by a doctor, it's illegal... kind of like doing prescription meds that weren't prescribed to you.

And about cigarettes... bleh. I can't stand the smell, I highly doubt I'd like the taste. I refuse to try it.

Oh god, I hate cigarrettes. There's nothing worse in this world than cigarrettes..

drinking is ok though. Mostly because it's not addictive as smoking, and you wouldn't be drinking as much you would be smoking.
