How about you go get us some nice new KH news then? Take a look around love, the same is happening on EVERY KH forum site at the moment. It isn't just us.

If it is pissing you off that badly you could always, oh I don't know, go outside?

Or you could think of something to do instead of complaining about it.

No I'm being serious, I am getting beyond sick of seeing threads of people complaining and *****ing that the site is boring lately, you think we don't know that?


Once we get fresh news then things will pick up.


Plus older members are coming back and people are going off on holidays so there is a lot of coming and going at the moment o_o we do our best.

That seems more likely since we can't trust many members to actually have WoW let alone play it.

 

It's true. I've been on way more since the end of school. Also there's the fact that most of us live in a place where you can walk outside and do something fun. So some of us who don't have to drive twenty miles just to get to a pool need to do that.

There's is really nothing that anyone can do about it. Even if they set something up only the members currently active will actually get involved.

Lets do the math:

There are 27,800 members
Out of those members, only 3,083 are active
Out of those members you only see less than 400 on at a time usually

Even though we see that KH forums die between games wouldn't that mean that KH forums will die once the games are finished?

I dont know...personally, I always thought it was more of you guys' problem (the people who run kh vids) if people were having more fun reading troll threads than doing anything here. In the end, you are the only people who can host forum wide events, because you people are the most influential around here...

But thats just me. And im not pissed off...im trying to help. I dont want to argue, just find something to get the whole forum back again. I mean, I joined when kh2 was beginning to get old. Before BBS, 358/2 days and coded were even heard of even. I still thought the forum was more alive then than what it is now.

 

So the fact that the KH community is, in your opinion, entirely down to the people who run the sites? So you are blaming the staff? The fact that there is no new news and the fact that it is summer so people are going to be more bored means nothing?

I can understand your frustration but I find you to be rather harsh when attributing the blame entirely on the staff. Would you like me to link you to some other KH sites? Look for yourself, they are all running slow at the moment.

I am not wishing to offend, and I am not wanting to argue, however I completely disagree. We cannot please all of the people all of the time. Yes the forum used to be more alive, however my love things change, so many members cry for the good old days, but the simple truth is that we cant live in the past, we have to live for now and work with what we have now.

Believe me, we arent just sat twiddling our thumbs doing nothing, we are working on it. At the moment though we are concentrating on clearing the site up since it has been allowed to slip.

T~T I am actually not mad. Or frustrated. And if you look at the post that I wrote, I was trying to be as most objective as possible and not blame anything on anyone. Not only this, but I cant tell if your working on it or not...I'm just someone who goes here to talk and debate and not get all caught up in the mechanics and what not of the site...

And yes I do go to other sites. They are not kh related, but most if not all seem to have some kind of "summer event" going on... the entire point of this thread was to see if we could get one, not to be confrontational with other members in terms of why we do not have one yet.

I said that it was "you guys' problem" because you truly are the only people who could do something like that. I mean, if I could round up the entire forum and say "hey! Lets play a game (or something)" I would. No its not your fault or any of the staff's fault. That wasnt the point I was trying to prove. Like I mentioned earlier I cannot tell if your working on it or not, so plz dont get frustrated if I bring something up that has already been brought up amongst yourselves.

Hope that helps clear some things up. Still I do want to bring up something even you have said, just now. You said "this site has been allowed to slip." I dont want to start any crap, but could that possibly be one of the many reasons so many people are bored here?

This place is dull because KH is dead at the moment, in production, also we staff aren't responsible for giving you guys endless hours of enjoyment, you're a big community of imaginitive kids, make up your damn pleasure and games, threads, competitions, games, we say go ahead and do them all.

Go outside with your friends and have fun, the internet shouldn't be a constant source of enjoyment for you (one porn joke i will ban you <.<) there's more to life that this site, so go find the little things, get a girlfriend or a boyfriend depending on your sex and orientation, take up an instrument or see a movie, we don't care how you have fun, we have an arcade for fun and competitions to do with AMV's and sigs etc. but you guys are MORE than capable of creating your own non destructive fun.

We do have a summer event but it's not far enough in the summer for it to happen yet. If I recall, the forum awards occurred late July early August.

But until then, we just need to sit tight and make our own form of entertainment. The staff aren't our trained monkeys to jump through hoops when we snap our fingers.

I used to be much more active on the site but then I got a job which keeps me occupied. Yes there is no KH news at the present time but that will pick up once the other games come out. Until then, we just need to figure out things to keep us occupied.

 

Well I agree but the only problem is for people like me who live in hick town nowheresville where you have to drive 20 miles before you see something at all.

Also I don't find the forum really boring now though. I like it!

 

I say we get a private WoW server for KH-Vids.

 

Boredom is something we all hate,but I guess you can call me the most active member.lol
I seem to come on mostly every day.(not for any reason)I just feel that someday,KH Vids will be the most popular site in Internet history.

Well, my friend and I were thinking of making like this scavenger hunt for KHV but we thought no one would play. All you basically have to do is answer questions to get a certain image. We are big KH fans we thought of searching for the keyblades and we had questions. The answers would be the link to the image and you would have to copy and paste it. Then at the end the one who has the most keyblades win. Or something like that.

 

I have did something similar to that long ago on another site.But it was different.If you answered a question right,you would win a video via PM.So yeah.

 

Before I was banned I thought the forum was great. Only about 5000 members, lots of cool stuff happened and everyone seemed to know each other....

But now... eh

 

No offence Light, really, but do you have any suggestions?

It is all very well to say "do something." but do you have any ideas on what sort of game to play? What would be worth broadcasting?

Personally, I recommend visiting other forums with raiding parties. Go in, and steal games.

As for the forum dying once the games end... I am going to treat it like death, and pretend it will never happen. Cowardly, but it is how I cope.
