Guys, not every GameStop is as bad as the one you're going to. Some have ****** employees and customer service, sure, but there are quite a few I know that have had really nice guys who actually put more effort than you'd think to help their customers. My friend who works at a Gamestop and has for like 2 years even tells people to try out Fallout Games, a hole-in-the-wall that I've personally been to and love. Thing is, that drive is 15 minutes, while I can walk to a GameStop in maybe 8 minutes.

But I'll not defend the fact that they're rip-off artists when it comes to buying pre-owned games. $8 for Portal 2, which I bought for $60 a few months ago. That is thievery if I've ever experienced it.

 

Excep the difference is that Verizon Fios is a damn good quality service.

 

Not for that price, it isn't.

Not to mention they cannot do math.

 

That was a Verizon wireless plan in 2006. I'm talking about their fiber optic internet/phone/TV. It's worth it.

 

Well since I don't want to bother reading through this thread I will just say the Gamestops around here are full of kind employees, and they even told my mom to not buy Tron: Evolution and Duke Nukem Forever for me (thats what my mom told me, anyway) and I am forever grateful for that.
My only problem with Gamestop is how they totally jip you if you want to sell your games back.

 

Not if they do not offer it in your area. They do not even offer broadband in my area. I was buying a ground line from them for $30+ a month until mid-2010. I had to go to a local company to get broadband for $45 a month.

 

Alright, results time.

I went there and they had just gotten their shipment of KH3D copies in. However, they have yet to process it all into their inventory, which means I will be unable to pick it up until Sunday. To make up for it, they gave me dibs on the KH3D poster above the 3DS display when they're done using it to advertise. I'm going to call this a success.
