Kingdom Hearts What did you think of Sora's english voice in KH1 ?

I thought it would be much deeper and I think the Japanese version sounded better.:)

 

I thought it was funny at first but i got use to it.

 

Sometimes I felt he lacked expressoin in his voice...

But yeah, it was alright I guess. Cute kinda.

 

He sounded like a noob.

I think it was really cute.
It could lack some expression at times, but it was really sweet and good in my opinion.
I liked it better than the japanese.
(The one in kh2 is adorable<3)

 

I liked his voice, but I liked it better in KH2. I really hated Kairis voice ;___; [only because I dispise that actrice though]

 

I like it. I thought it matched him.

I mean geeze, he was only 14. You can't expect him to have a Xemnas voice.

 

i think he sounded like 10 n english, i have to go with the jap voice, it sounded a little older than he was soposed to be though

 

well it was enough to get everyone on this site interested enough to post on a forum about it (ooh that just burned all you sora-haters). If anyones voice was stipid it was roxas (not a roxas-hater, a mcartney-hater)

well anyway sora rocks, riku rocks, kairi shouldn't have been a love struck idiot in KH2, roxas sould have another voice, zexion is emo, and finally axel is awesome end of discussion

 

His voice was high pitched alot because he wasn't serious the whole time. But when you listen to him talking during the scene with Riku in Hollow Bastion when Sora get's Donald, Goofy, and the Keyblade back, you can tell that his voice is alot deeper and more serious.

 

Well personally I think that Sora's voice was cute^-^
I really got used to it in no time, but I felt kinda weird when I listened to his voice in KH2 cos it seemed different...but that's other story

 

Actually, I think Jesse Mccartney did a great job as Roxas. Regarding between KH1 and KH2, I was a little surprised at first in KH1 but I grew to like it. And I thought that it fit Sora at that time (plus he's only fourteen). Kairi's voice did bug me a little bit though earlier on. Riku was just awesome.
And you can definitely tell how the voice actor's voices changed in four years when playing KH2. Overall, I'm quite happy with them.
Dangit, KHIIFM+ should just come to the states, and they can say that Sora's voice changed in between the last scene in KH and entering Castle Oblivion or something... assuming Haley Joel Osment keeps doing the same character...

Sora's voice in the English version was way too childish, he sounded 8. Seriously. He was 14, a teenager already. I never heard a 14 year old boy with that high pitched voice anywhere, unless he inhaled helium. Is either already deep, or is in between. And worse, Sora actually looked 10.

I don't think his Japanese voice sounded too old. It sounded his age, and it had this boyish, cute, and childish tone to it. I love the way Miyu Irino speaks.

KH2 English voice was better, way better. In fact, I LOVE it. It's very fitting for him, the voice, the tone, and everything. It matches his cuteness and hotness :3.

And we can't forget Atlantica. "Dawlin, it's better, down where it's wetter, take it from meeeee!"
