What if you died tomorrow?

I feel bad about having thought deeply about this in the past, and about having a plan. Short answer is FuzzyBlueLights would eventually tell you guys, or at least staff. I also have a list of numbers for my family to call and alert if any emergency ever happens. Numbers to those closest to me from here. ​

By the way, none of you die soon, or ever. I'll be pissed off and kick your ghost asses. All of them.

 

It would be on the news. If it happened soon, "Another hate crime in East Tennessee." If it happened in a few years, "TN Candidate for Governor Assassinated."

 

i hope that someone would notice i guess. probably no one would though. it would be a while. i tend to give people the silent treatment when angry so people would think i was angry with them.
well all one person that i talk to daily would.
idk i guess a few people would know because of my facebook though?

I actually had this thought a few months ago when certain circumstances arose and created a legal will where it says to tell certain internet friends that I have passed. Not kidding. It's f*cking depressing to know at any minute, the people you know here any day could pass on and it'd be no different if they said "BRB GOING FOR A SNACK" and their laptop just broke down.

It's in fact these thoughts that brought me back to you all. Loose threads, regrets, people hating me? **** that ****.

 

Well, my roommate and a few of my irl friends are (rather un-active) members of the forum, so I'm sure they'd let someone know.
Also, Facebook.

If those two didn't work, I have no doubt Plums or someone would figure it out eventually.

 

I doubt you guys would ever know...and you'd soon forget I was ever here.

...unless Claw, Feenie and Vivi heard about it on the news - how I single handedly destroyed the evil SNP and saved Scotland.

I'm sure someone would find out over Facebook, but I too have thought about this (I made a plan if I ever went into hospital and had no way of informing people), I would basically give my mum instructions to come onto this computer and post a thread informing staff. However, if I died unexpectedly then I'm sure Cat or some members I have over Facebook would discover and then the forum would have to be shut down 5eva.

True story.

 

Damn. I'm surprised this is in the spam zone...

But looking back, I have thought about this in the past, and I think it's fair to say that how and when a number of you find out has been one of the first things to come to mind. If I knew beforehand, I'd spend a good number of hours making a thread (for sure) and say everything that I needed to before moving on.

Now, if it just happened and I didn't have any prior knowledge, I'm scared that it would just seem like I dropped off the face of KHV due to life and school (because it's happened twice already) and that I'd just leave everybody wondering.


It totally figures that this is about dying tomorrow and I'm more concerned whether or not "strangers on the internet" would ever know. Plenty of people would look down upon this, but you guys are all are as valid friends as anyone, so f*ck anyone who says otherwise.

 

I didn't want anyone to get too strung up on the whole thing, so I placed it here so that light hearted responses could be made aswell as serious ones.

 

Vivi, if I die and you somehow find out...I want to give you my posts.

As for me, well I don't know how you guys would figure out. If I knew I was going to die then I would definitely inform people beforehand and leave a will with my last requests but if I happened to die in like a car crash for example then...I guess people would find out through Facebook...eventually. It would depend on whether or not my family decides to make it public or not.

 

If I die then nothing of value was lost.
