Sword because I want to defend myself.

I chose attack when I first played through...not sure why probably because I never thought about it and just wanted the one that killed things faster. Now however I would probably pick magic since KH2 is pretty easy so I usually mix in Magic attacks with my combos just to keep things interesting.

 

I chose the wand since I always use spells in fights and I gave up the sword

 

normally i choose the Sword because of my fighting style (i am offensive not magic or defense but i jump/attack to stop attackers from countering me and if they do the defense helps in keeping me going) then i choose the sword in the dream because of my style jump/block except ageist average enemy's which i normally just bash

 

In KH2 I chose the sword; I was going for defense to help me in the boss battles, because I'm patient and awesome.

 

I picked the Sword. Typical of me, but in the end, I found it was a good choice, seeing as I suck at strategy and often die in boss battles.​

 

Shield because I suck at magic and prefer defensive fighting first inorder to get a feel for my enemy

I find it a bit funny that this game has two weapon selection points and you are asking about the one that generally has less importance. Choosing the struggle bat (wand, sword, club) increases the respective stat by 1 and that is all. Choosing a weapon in Station of Serenety (Staff, Sword, Sheild) changes your level up chart for the duration of the game, altering what stats leveling gives you and when you get abilities.

I usually go for attack (club) since I didn't really care for this game's magic system and when it comes to synthesis later the power boost is more valuable than the defense boost.

In the station I'm a toss up between sheild and sword, but usually go sword. It gets Lucky Lucky, Negative Combo, and Finishing Plus sooner but you don't get Second Chance and Once More until late so that tends to make me second guess it.

 

Shield. Idk, I think I kinda got used to the fact that the main player always lacks defense (not only in kh, but in other games also) ajdfkejo I hope you guys get what I mean.

 

The wand was my choice. I loved casting magic.
