Which KH Game has the best story?

KH1's story was really good in my opinion. You just didn't expect Riku's betrayal at all, and that really helped the story. And then it being 'Ansem'...it just was a really good story. KH1, COM, KH2 is the order of my favorite to least favorite story. Not that KH2 has a bad story, it doesn't. I just like the other two better xD.

 

Kingdom Hearts had an open ending, that's why I like the story of Kingdom Hearts II better, cuz it actually ends. Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories wasn't too bad, but slightly dissapointing if you ask me...

 

I liked number 2, because it's plot and baddies were so much more interesting. It had a great plot, my only complaint is that they tried to fit it into too short of a game...make the game longer or devide it into 2 games. They have certain scenes that were good, like the whole Roxas and Axel issue, but while Sora's running around killing all the Org XIII there's no conflict of "all they want is to be human" it's just "let's go beat their head in w/ a keyblade".

 

definately kh1....its the big bang, it started this game we all know and love....without its story, we wouldnt have kh2s story or coms story

 

KH2, I dunno why it's just the newer and more grown up version xD and it has way more characters

 

i would say com becuase it has twists especially reverse rebirth both for the gba i also like how it connects kh1 to kh2 p.s is there a final fantasy character or kh charecter in soul caliber 4

 

com because it was the only really intersting one to me.

The other two were kind of predticable.​

Matters....if we want something that is more clever association of disney. Definately the 1st one.

For a more mysterious story, KH2.

I honestly believe KH1 had the best story line....but maybe that's just 'cause it was the first one, and the first games are always the best......

 

I'll have to say KH1.The story blended in better with the disney characters anyway, so KH1 I would have to say.

 

My vote goes to KH2. I really liked how everything wrapped together and fit like a puzzle. Some things made you think 'why didn't I see that?!' while others made you think 'oh, that makes sense now!' ^.^

 

I defently liked the KH2 story line better because the first KH was awsome and then u really wanted to know what happens to sora, riku and kairi so the secound one summed that up nicely

 

CoM had the best story by far. It was short but sweet and completely different from your average RPG quests.

 

I'd say KH2- THE GAMEPLAY WAS EASY!!! I <3 easy! KH1 was too hard *whines*

 

I really liked KH2 there seemd ot be more character development, but that could be because they didnt need to introduce everyone like the yhad to do in KH1

 

I loved KH 2 the best because of the character devolepments and some of the storyline is pretty emotional, the stages are fun, I like the music, I enjoy the gameplay too and it answers so questions of what's going on from the first two KH games.;)

I also liked the first KH game, since it got me into playing other KH games in the first place. It's different than most RPGs I've played and the main reason I own a PS2.

KH: CoM was pretty different and the first time I'd played it, I didn't pay much attention to the story well, but the game's fun. I still haven't beaten Sora's story yet, because I still need a certain card number to face Marluxia.

I'll have to go against the majority here and say that CoM had the best overall storyline (although the first game had the best individual scenes) and that the story of KH II was a disappointment. CoM had so much more character development than the other games and even though it was the first KH game I played, the story made far more sense than that of KH II when I already knew the story of the two previous games. In CoM, Sora went from a rather naive, but still likable character to a total ****** and back to being likable, but definitely more mature whereas in KH II, he's just... stupid and incredibly annoying.

Chain of Memories was also the only Kingdom Hearts game where I actually took interest in Riku. Riku is definitely the character that has developed the most during the timeline of Kingdom Hearts and it's all thanks to Chain of Memories. In both other games, I just found Riku to be really annoying, but in CoM, I actually liked him as a character. The character cast in general also seemed much more fleshed out and believable in CoM than it did in the other games. (though KH II the weakest game in this aspect as well)
