Which KH Game has the best story?

When I first bought CoM, I was thinking it would just be a re-hashed version of the 1st game. But when all of the Organization members showed up, I was like O_O, kewl. CoM had the crummiest gameplay, IMO, but the "storyline" was the best. Everyone loves betrayal, amirite?

 

I totally agree with you o.o And, yes, KH II had a nice story, but it wasn't THAT cool, ya know? It was only a game for you to see Sora's growing up and have mercy on Roxas' fate o_o

I played all three games. I thought KHII was the best because

KHI-The story was good for beginning, but the ending kinda sucked. Plus Sora should have had a more tragic ending. All the character played a nice part though. The whole true love thing is kinda cliched, and how Kairi brought Sora back was part of that. It kinda ruined the whole story for me. I liked this one the least.

KH:ReC-Story would have been nicer if the Organization members involved had had more screen time. Plus it would have been nice to see their backgrounds a little more. Namine made a good character, and Sora was pretty good too. Riku did a good job, and it was fun to go back and see everyone again. This one was second best for me.

KHII-I liked this one the best, because of the ending. It was nice, leaving room for a third KH, but it could also stay that way, leaving us to imagine our own endings. Everyone had enough time to show their little stories, and the Final Fantasy characters were woven nicely into the story. Cloud, Tifa and Aerith also had a nice little story line, including some of the conflict that might have happened had Aerith lived to Advent Children. It was also nice to see the Final Fantasy characters interact with each other, and see how they might side together in a battle. The only glitch in this, again, was Sora and Kairi's relationship. Considering all they have been through, you might think Kairi would be a little more distraught about Riku, and how Sora left her at Destiny Islands. You would also think Sora might be a little more worried about Kairi's safety instead of charging in to fight Organization members. Instead, Riku ends up looking after her, and Kairi still seems to care more for Sora.

i liked rechain the best because there was more emotions and feelings in it. sora was the star of it all, especially when he got mad at jiminy.

 

I'd have to go with COM. It's fun, adventurous, and suspenseful.

Although KH1 was the intro, and the intro's usually have the best story, I'd have to go with KH2 just because they introduced nobodies and organization XIII.
I hated the story for CoM because that's where they introduce Namine and make Sora forget about Kairi (having SoraXKairi moment). DX

 

The first one was as good as it gets. Granted, SE still has yet to realize the true epic potential KH's concept has (or, perhaps more likely, Disney's holdin them back), but the first game was their best go at it. =p

 

KH2 has something BIG, the organization but the organization is used in CoM aswell, the heartless in CoM appears cause they are on Sora's memories, in KH1 just in special occations but in KH2 they appear from nowhere. Altho, I like the story that takes more importance in KH2 Sora x Kairi. :)

 

I say that Kh2 has the best story.But it's too easy.It could have been a little bit harder.Not as hard as Kh1.But a bit more of a challenge.It's practically impossible to get lost in Kh2,in Kh1...it's easy as hell to get lost.

 

Its kinda tied between KH1 and KH: CoM for me

 

I personally liked KH2s story the best. It was, without a doubt, the deepest and most involved - what with the multiple visits to each world, the Organization, Roxas, etc. However, in all 3 games, I found Sora to be quite... naive and kinda stupid. Same with Donald and Goofy. Now, for all the new games coming out, BBS looks to have the best storyline (because I love history so much), and hopefully, the characters won't be so naive.

 

I think KH1 has the most intriging story.

 

KH1

it's full of betrayal and darkness.

 

I like Kingdom Hearts II the best. Everything sort of comes together there and leaves some questions for a sequal like the secret endings.

Second I'd pick KH1.

Third COM.

 

I preferred KH2.
I found the KH1 storyline a bit too confusing, but KH2's storyline seems far more serious than KH1. :3
