Which KH Is Better 1 or 2?

I liked both games. KH1 was the beginning game and though slower, it was great for its time and I can still play through it. KH2 was great to me as well and I liked the faster pace of the game. I thought KH2 was made a bit too easy though in comparison with KH1 but it was still entertaining. The gummi ships were vastly improved in KH2. I hated those in KH1. All in all, I can find things between both games that were more enjoyable so it's a tie to me.

 

2 is way better. Has drives, nobodies, and play as Roxas.

 

I forgot to add, that as a "Kingdom Hearts" series I liked KH1 more. But as a game in general, I liked KH2 more.

 

I think KH1 is a bit better than KH2, cause i find it more difficult to play and there are no Reaction Command wich i hate a lot.

(they are good looking, but they made the game soooo easier :nono:)

But the drives and the nobodies plot are very cool also ^^

 

KH1 is so much better. The Battle System is much more difficult than KH2 which makes the game more entertaining and the sidequests and bosses were actually fun. (Most of KH2 were a pain and very grindy.)

The only points I'll give to KH2 is the story and gummi missions. I liked the story much more and gummi missions were actually fun...Reaction Commands and Drives can get out of the series. They make the game too easy, boring, and no sense. (You can't jump over a 6 foot wall but u can randomly fly and beat the crap out of enemies for about 10 seconds...) As far as enemies go, they can use more nobody fights...

All in all, KH1 was a game that moves depending on how u play (exp for blocking attacks and stuff like that) while KH2 was boring buttonsmashing...

 

Oblivious. KH2 Is Much KH1. The Reason Why I Left Re:Chain Of Memories is Because The European Version Has Not Been Announce For Like 7 Months. And Importing The NA Version Would Mean No Point...

Because Trying North American Version Games Onto A English Console. Doesn't Work Because of Region Lock... Which Sucks Really...

 

I think Kingdom Hearts 2 was better, but Sora was annoying. Kingdom Hearts 1 was so hard... but Sora wasn't annoying... as much... maybe... Oh well...

1 was better because they kept atlantica on 2 and made it even more annoying. drive forms made it too easy

I enjoyed both game, and both were great in different accounts. KH was definitely a good play and introduction to the story. I loved it for the difficulty it set for the gameplay. It was a challenge to play KH than it was for KHII. You really needed to figure out what you had to do advance in the game. KHII was great in its own way because it was fun--with the reaction command and etc. It also did have better graphics, sound qualities and attacks. It was great...but not as difficult as the first. Still, I enjoyed them both.

 

I prefer KH2: I'm lazy, so I liked that it was easier with the cut-scene skipping option, (aka didn't repeatedly die and have to listen to the same 5 minute cutscene over again) reaction command, drives, interesting villians (Organization XIII), and just overall prettier! I also loved Timeless River, Winnie the Pooh, and Tron (Old school, hilarious, and nostalgic)

 

KH1 was better because it didn't have the reaction commands of "Hammer triangle and you win!" or the attack system of "Hammer X and you win, even if you're halfway across the room, because the system homes in for you!"

KH1 was a lot let button mashey. Guarding was important and healing was a tax on your magic, unlike in KH2 where you could abuse magic/healing till the cows came home. I preferred the magic system in KH1, where it was actually an effort to get magic.

KH1 had a better gummi system. Yeah, I went there. I felt like I had freedom, instead of the KH2 one, where I was a slave to the camera and it was all overdone. Simplicity was best. I don't want a separate game based on transport, which is what KH2 tried to do. KH1 assimilated it into the game system. It could have been better, but I liked making the ships, and it made sense, unlike the no-cockpit, guns shoot everywhere KH2.

The plot in KH1 made somewhat sense, and was far less of a Kudzu than KH2, which just ran out of control. Plot points just weren't addressed.

Character development was better in KH1. I didn't feel like hitting Sora and Donald over the head every cutscene, and it does not have the ever-present wangst that was in KH2. Seriously, I can empathise a bit with Roxas at the start, but the people most deserving of our sympathy (Organisation XIII) take every chance to anger the player, while Sora mopes around about... Well I'm not really sure. But he's upset.

KH1 had the Disney characters mean something, and the worlds visited actually felt relevant to the plot, while KH2 (and CoM) just made them feel tacked on when Square quite clearly wanted to focus on the Organisation more.

KH2 had little difficulty. At most, it was a boss that you'd try a few times before victory. KH1 had some difficult bosses in the main story. Churnabog, for example, was a real pain, as was possessed Riku. The end boss can still give me a bit of trouble, what with his possession of me.

KH1 lacked some of the fancy graphics, I will admit. But it was FUN, and a challenge. KH2 didn't have the same feeling.

 

Neither. Chain Of Memories beats them both in my opinon.

But to answer the question directly, KH1. It had more depth, challenge, suspense, more action, and more thought into actions. The Sephiroth battle in KH1 in comparison to KH2 is a example of great challenge. I would pick KH2 only for the organization getting some screen time, but CoM and Days took that. I only like it for it's large variety of hackable battles. If you're looking for a good game, KH1. If you want a game that'll last a bit after it's done and you beat the secret bosses, KH2/KH2FM.

 

In my opinion KH2 is better. I think it has a better story-line than 1. And the fights are cooler, but mostly because of the story-line. But there's also drive froms which are awesome and has more worlds, and the gummi ship themes are amazing.

 

I like the first kh better. Idk it was just more fun to me. Everything is best the first time. Plus the disney worlds in the second one just followed the same story as their movies. It was like Sora didn't belong there.

 

I like KH1 more, KH2 is fun, no doubt about that, but the storyline, difficulty, and the fact you cant really button mash is far better in KH1 then KH2

 

KH1 was enjoyable, and hard to beat. That aside, I definitely got into the storyline. It was more of an adventure the first time around. As for KH2, the gameplay was more fun, I loved the counterattacks, and to me the story was better than the first Kingdom Hearts. I think KH2 is better by far.

 

I think kh2 actions are better because you can fuse kinda
and go into a computer and cartoon times.
