I would vote for Kairi and then Sora

 

riku is my fav cause riku used his dark powers but still helped his friends when they really needed him the most

I would argue he lacks character depth.

I like characters with depth. So, pretty much everyone but Sora and Xemnas and Ansem the Seeker of the Dark.

Even Kairi lacks depth, but she is more likable than Sora.

Riku and Roxas are both awesome, too. I haven't liked Sora since KH2 began, he's just too obnoxious IMO.

sora is just a cure all type of person. if ur fighting a fiery enemy, use ice, if u need to beat the crap out of something really quickly, use melee or trinity limit if u need to use defense...guard or use reflect...and if all else fails, BLAST THEM IN THE CHEST WITH A BEAM OF LIGHT...(xemnas fight)

i would be a fan of roxas but we dont see enough of him...all i know is that hes a smarter, quieter sora, who relies on his power (the power to weild dual keyblades) than his abilities (like ice or fire...im not sure if he even knows how to use them...) i like roxas though because hes definately relate-able even though he doesnt have a heart. its ironic though because people end up liking even more even though hes literally on the dark side...

which is why i choose riku. he doesnt rely on pure strength all the time, and instead will try to confront his enemies by talking to them instead of rushing in or blasting them with a beam of light...or darkness? -anyway, hes a lot smarter than sora and definately gets things faster...all in all...if riku were the main character of the kh series and not sora, kh2 would have been a much shorter game...X[)
