i enjoyed Coded but i guess since it has no real addition to the plot other then that Mickey realizes that Sora knows Aqua, Terra and Ven

I personally thought coded was decent. It's my least favorite of all the kingdom hearts games though, purely due to the fact i liked all the others better.

I certainly don't dislike RE: Coded. IMO it's more enjoyable than Days gameplay wise.

Isn't days and Coded the only spin off?

BbS and 3D are basically spin-offs that forgot they're spin-offs. After KHII, 3D was the last game to actually advance the plot, and only by a few steps in comparison.

If anything 3D is more or less the Prolog for Kh 3.

Not quite. It's what CoM was to KHII in a way. It's set up is all it really is.

That's... kind of what a prologue is, Bel.

That said, if it's ancillary to another game, it's basically a spin-off. Doesn't matter if it's tacked onto the beginning or the end.

Well yeah, but a prologue would be part of the story, not the story that comes before in a line of consecutive stories. I mean that's what I thought.

Not that it matters since it functions as setup either way and is still a spin-off like you said.

I don't hate Coded. Gameplay wise, it's fun and I wish this was how Days was controlled. The command deck really works well on such limited hardware. Story-wise, though, it's just not really that important.

Well the game is quite enjoyable considering it's on the Nintendo DS, but if anything it just feels like playing a low quality version of kingdom hearts 1.

I guess it'd be the lack of any real plot and addition to the overall KH story.
Plus really no emotional moments tbh....

I enjoyed Re:Coded, it's was pretty fun! (Though I do like Days better) I felt like I was playing the original, it was so awesome!
