Because I feel they need a hug to brighten their days. Also, some of them have these really light blue eyes and I think that's cute. :3

Part Emo.....can you take your mind set out of classes and then think of yourself as you.

I do know how it feels, then I got over it and got invovled in school and found some good friends that were positive. I didn't sit by myself and sulk about my wanna-be pathetic life. I had it good finally and I wasn't going to waste it thinking about my past, I learn to drop it and move on.

    Emos...
People who think that they're the ones who ned help the most and tries to get our attention by cutting themselves.
My friend is emo and she has cutted herself lots of time, and I got so tired of giving her advice that I just ignore her suicide notes and crap.
Back to the subject, its not like I hate them, they are people to you know...
But they must stand up for themselves and stop being so damn whimpy.

No I do not hate Emos, I doubt anyone around here does, they are just misunderstood people.

Edit: Though I would let them burn if they kept on cutting themselves and didn't want your help, trying to kill yourself is a Sin, I'll let them burn in hell.

Not all emo's cut themselves, or cry for attention.
    Can you say Stereotype?
And you, most likley, sin one hundred times a day.
Oh, wait, you could just say "forgive me plz" and everything is all better.
    I forgot, my bad.

I've been called emo a lot. And then I was pretty surprised, I mean, ME emo? Nuh-uh, I'm too happy....
But in the beginning of this year (I mean the school year) even though I had a new look and was a little more respected, I became more and more depressed, especially when my birthday rolled around. I did sort of cut (scratch, really, because I found them when I woke up since I do it in my sleep cuz my skin in dry, and when I saw the cuts I did them more often while I was awake). I definetly had suicial thoughts, but I kept trying to think of things I wanted to see myself finish in life (finish Junior High, get my first kiss, see my 5 year old cousin grow up, get married one day, finish Kingdom Hearts XD) so I stopped one day. I realized how many people cared about me (though I was bullied)...the thing that was keeping me down was that I deal with my mom getting drunk sometimes and she says some hurtful things to me when she's drunk. I've been dealing with her doing that since I was 9 (I'm 13 now and still dealing) and I've definetly grown up more than my actual age due to it, and realized that I can't help her if I'm not around, so I stopped cut-er, scratching.
I don't hate emos, no, and I DO like the image of it ^_^

Emo's are misunderstood. When someone calls another "emo", others think of it as a negative factor like they cut themselves, wanna' die, live a dead life, etc. Those are said because of majority. People tend to take what dominant parts of the environment say. They'll overwrite that all emos aren't technically "emo" or that they just like the look. Honestly, I don't mind emo people. They are just in trouble or bad times. But their is a thing called "move on" XD

And the people who say they like the look. You may like it, but you'll be considered emo whether you are or not. Because of course, nobody looks at the inside first. They look at the outside. When the outside reveals you look like an emo, they'll think on the inside you are emo.

This has been like the third thread regarding this subculture. It originally began with the genre of music and quickly got a fishy rep because the rich arse musicians who had anything but problems began to try and right biased songs towards how hard it is for a teenager to grow up nowadays. They succeeded, and so the unappreciative emo culture began. I just get annoyed when kids actually try to play off such things when they live in the suburbs and have more than one video game console. The whole self-pity cliche that tends to accompany most followers of the style pisses me off too-- if you don't like the way some things are going for you, you have the power to change them. Maybe someday the emo musicians will have something actually emotional to write about and redeem the monstrousity of the style it has become. Until then wear whatever you want to wear, smile once in a goddamn while and try to appreciate the fact that you aren't a starving teenager growing up in Africa.

I don't really hate them, but I do think they're wrapped up too much in the ..."negative" aspects of life. Going out the door and smelling a few roses wouldn't kill anyone.

  18. I dont know why people hate peoiple who are stereotyped as 'Emo'. Seeing the world from a different perspective is not a bad thing, nmore likely a good thing.

When people call me Emo I just say 'Emo is shgort for Emotional so if your going to try to insult me get something better than emotional'

Since lately it has turned into that really...
