Why does every one love axel?

I don't know. Probably because I saw something in his personality that stood out to me. I liked that he was kind of a villian but you felt pity for him at the same time, since he lost his best friend and never really got to see him again (since Roxas lost his memory). He's not boring. In fact, while playing Re:Chain of Memories I always laugh out loud when he makes his first entrance. Because up until that point, everything was all serious, and then suddenly Axel appears and gives the most cheerful, "Hello!"

 

I don't love axel but I don't hate him either....I just think he's an "okay" character

But of course I prefer Sephiroth a gazillion times more than Axel lolz

 

I could say his looks... Hair, eye color, two dark stripes on the cheeks... But I'm not going to say that.

I think his background. He was a really interesting character among the Organization members.

 

I don't really care to much about Axel actually I may have liked him more if he didn't kill Vexen and let Riku Rep. kill Zexion, but I must say Larxene is a much more better character she is a Btch and that's what I like.

 

I actually love Axel. I have nothing against his character, minus the unceremonious actions he took in Castle Oblivion. The way he killed them when they were begging for their lives, as nonexisting as they were, should have been done better.

What is starting to irritate me, and making me bitter about his character, it's that he's overrated. Him always winning polls, people choosing him blindly just because he's, lol, Axel, even when the question doesn't ask what is your favorite member. All while the others are much more fitting to win than he is in reality. On top of that, SE likes to whore him out among other characters that are stuck with no rightful development, and he's moving, while they stay behind. Nomura and his damn staff needs to put their obvious bias and favoritism aside. Personal likes shouldn't be put into work, because then other characters are ignored in the process, and don't get the lime light they deserve.

Otherwise, he's alright. He's not the big deal that people make him out to be. If as much effort was placed into the other members like they do him, no doubt they will be way more interesting in the long run.

I do say, however, that he is one handsome and hot pixel. So the eye candy makes it somewhat better for him, luckily.

i think his attitude his awesome his flames are definitley awesome i just dont like why his arms are so skinny like hell but he is awesome because its like he thinks he has a heart because he has emotions sorta and i just think he is pimpin :roar::roar::roar::roar::roar::roar::roar:

 

I have to admit I REALLY dislike Axel, but that may be because I'm a die-hard Vexen fangirl and a pretty big Marluxia one too. I just find his personality irritating because it seems to change to suit the plot writers and not for any real reason, at least at this moment in time it seems that way to me. One moment he's a jerk, next he's all clingy to his 'best friend', one moment he's weeding out rebels in the Organization, next he's gone AWOL.

What annoys me the most his how he just 'killed' Vexen for no damn reason, he could of just told him to go back to TWTNW and pretend to be dead so they can bring down Marluxia. Or even team up against Marluxia, I'm sure the two of them combined would be able to take both Marluxia and Larxene as in the manga it's a fire and a blizzard spell that kill her.

However I did used to really, really like him. I even considered cosplaying him once I was that devout to the guy. But then I saw Vexen's CoM death, not Re:CoM but the GBA version, I realised that Axel didn't really deserve the attention he gets. At least in my opinion.

But Quiton Flynn is just amazing, one of my favourite VAs. I can't help but love Axel's voice even if I hate the character. X3

I love cosplaying as him and im making his chakrams which I cut myself on >.<
But yeah! hes sooooooooo bomb! His moves are awesome, hes personality: sarcastic, witty, emotional. He brings emotions and the significance of friendship into Kingdom hearts. I got bored of Kairi and Sora after a while. 'Kairi' this and 'Kairi' that. [I like Sora and Riku though] but When Axel and Roxas came in, I thought, 'I never wanna c Sora, Kairi, or Riku again! O.O'. They bring reality more so to the game.

The catch phrase, because he sacrificed himself, the hair, and sometimes people just like side characters to be different.

Axel's not a side character by this point.

Meh, point still stands that Axel and Vexen vs Marluxia and Larxene might actually of worked and resulted in less devastation to the Organization's ranks. That was some extra bit I thought up whilst typing really anyway, thought I'd throw it in.

 

Everything he does is so ****in awesome/epic. And he's extrememly hot, & I'd tap his fictional ass anyday.

 

Only if what happened in the manga to Larxene is true. Which I doubt, not because it isn't canon, but I saw it more of a comedic homage to the Wicked Witch of the West in the first place. Not to mention that in gameplay, lightning heals her. There must be some immunity that comes with this, or Axel should be hurt by his fire or someone else's fire.

But with Larxene or not, I'm certain Marluxia can take care of it himself. He's quite the powerful one when he bothers, commented by both Riku and Sora when they sensed him in the climax, I believe, and Vexen it's not that much of a fighter, I think.

Because he harnesses fire, is an intriguing character to the story, has a shady background, and he is "cool" in the eyes of gamers.

 

There are many reasons why many people love Axel. Axel happens to be my second favorite character as Demyx is my first and will discuss why that is besides the obvious features of visage, talent etc.

Relation with a character:
What I mean by this, is that a person can identify seeing themselves like that character. I see myself like Demyx, being friendly, non confronational, forgetful, yet at times, serious, mysterious and deceptive. So you see I identify more with the character Demyx because of his traits relate to my own.

But let's get back to Axel

Character description:
Axel is tall, lean and has a lot of charm about him. His hair is a vibrant red, the emerald eyes are mysterious, and his body is well toned.

Character Personaility:
Axel's role in the Kingdom Hearts is major and who wouldn't love a guy who is tough on both the inside and outside? He is a double agent, able to go from one extreme to the next and handles himself well in tight situations. Axel is kind to those he cares for and gives him a reason to without being able to have any emotions or feelings.

Character involvement:
Of all of the characters, he is the most mysterious and plays a huge role in the game interacting with other characters. Normura knew it was a good idea to have Axel survive from Castle Oblivion where as the other members didn't because he wanted to expand on Axel's character as a whole giving the viewers an indepth outcome.

Fandom:
To many minds of those who think differently, Axel is protrayed in different ways of being with certain girls or guys even though none of it is canon and would make any sense. It is all up to the beholder's mind.

 

Axel is my second fave member of the Organization (my first being Saix)! for a number of reasons.

1. There are things about Axel that others don't know yet, like which side he is really on.
2. Axel seems like you're regular Organization member, but he has a special place as a double agent. He betrayed the Oblivion members but yet, he also betrayed the higher members because of his friendship with Roxas, who he cares a lot for.
3. Axel is the type of character most people would go crazy over, as he is cocky and not a regular character type you would see often in a game.

But other than that, after playing Kingdom Hearts 2 so many times, Axel really doesn't even appeal to me anymore. I was all crazy about him at first but I began to see other people in the game *cough-Saix-cough*
