Why is Chuck Norris popular?

    (I didn't feel like this is worth being in the discussion zone so I put it here for fun but if any mod feels the need to move it there be my guess).
    I dont really get it. =_=
    People seem to worship him. I believe in NONE of the facts. It is impossible to be born in a place by someone who hasn't even been born yet (unless its a past life then ok).
    Why do people like the guy so much?

    I'd hope nobody believed those "facts". They're supposed to be jokes.

    Anyways, the internet had to make someone to be completely awesome and meme-ish. Chuck Norris was the choice because WHY NOT? In either case, the jokes are old and will generally gather HATRED if you use them anymore. ...And I kinda liked Walker Texas Ranger.
